CAS: Congratulations Baby-themed card

Please scroll down for the Wags'nWhiskers blogspot. Thanks! :)

It's me again :)
This time I like to show you a really CAS babycard. I just looooooooove this image for babycards. You can make a lot in neutral colors (like yellow, neutrals) so you have some to send, even though you don't know if it's a boy or girl. Or you can make it with blue and pink :)

Anyways.. here's the card!

Thanks for coming over and hope to see you later! :)

ABC Challenge: I for In Pairs

Hi there and welcome to another cold day! :)

It's the first of the month, so time for another ABC Challenge for all of you.
This time we're seeing the I, and it's for "In Pairs".
I was really struggling with this one. I wanted to make a card with layers, also wanted to use a Magnolia, but... when I was looking through my stamps (oh yeah... it's just so nice doing this, even if you don't do anything with them ;)), I came across this one from Stampingbella and think it's just perfect for this challenge!
Wanted to make a CAS card, and think I did this one pretty CAS. Stamped the sentiment on the cardstock, cut out my colored stamped image and put it there with some 3d foam. Mission completed! :)

Missie geslaagd! :)

Thank you so much for coming over again! See you later! :)
Don't forget to stop by the ABC Challengeblog for more creations of the DT.

Bedankt voor het langskomen, ik zie je graag weer terug! :)

Basic Grey Challenges Fall/Halloween

Hi there!

I'm here *again*. This time for the Basic Grey Challenges.
The theme is "fall, autumn, halloween".

I made my CAS card with the awesome Eerie-paperpad which I bought a year back (I think, or it was 2 years ago). Love the colors of it and it really gives me a vintage look.

I combined my papers with an awesome Elzybells-stamp I bought a long, long time ago. Luckily I did, as Elzybells isn't there anymore and I always found their stamps very whimsical. Don't you just love the circle sentiment and Dracula?? I sure do!

Anyways... here's my card. Enjoy...

Hope you can join me and the other DT-members on this challenge. Thanks! :)
Go visit the blog for more inspiration.

Hopefully I will be crafting a lot more the coming week. Hardly got any time after work nowadays.

Thanks for coming over and see you later! :)

Basic Grey Challenges: Magnolia goes Shabby Chic!

Hi there!

Wow... time is flying by way too fast! So much to do, so little time!
Don't you just wish you can go to a store where they sell "time", so you have some more time to do the things you love a lot?! I sure do!

Anyways... back to the Basic Grey Challenge this round... we're going "Shabby Chic" and it's so funny to see a lot of the DT-members used the Curio papers for this challenge *lol*

I used a lovely Magnolia stamp. Just love this one and think it's a perfect "Dutch" stamp as well with the tulip on it :)

Well... here's my card...

And a detailphoto of my card as well:

Teddy Stampers Challenge: Embossing

Please scroll down for the Wags'nWhiskers Challenge...thanks! :)

Hi there and welcome to another Teddy Stampers' Challenge.
This time we choose the theme "Embossing". I wanted to make a clean and simple card and think I managed quite well ;)
I didn't want to use heatembossing this time, but just embossing with some plates.
First I wanted to use my MS scoreboard for scoring some lines, but thought I had some little embossingfolders, just perfect for this little stitch.

Anyways... here's my project:

Just love this card! I think it's way too sweet and perfect for any birth, girl or boy, the light yellow suits them both :)

Thank you very much for coming over. It would be nice if you could join us in this challenge. I just know you will love it :)
Don't forget to hop over to the blog for more eyecandy from the DT. Thanks!

See you later!

Teddy Stampers Challenge: Sketch time!

Hi there and welcome to a new Teddy Stampers Challenge.
This time we challenge you to use a sketch you can find at the blog :)

As I totally love working with sketches, I also enjoyed playing around with this one.
Used an older stamp (guess it hasn't seen any ink before *oops*) and patterned papers I bought last year, so guess I have to say I used my stash (uhh... but there's still a lot left :)).

Anyways... here's my card:

I don't have a special reason in mind to send this card, it can be used for all kind of celebrations: birth, birthday, etc. etc.

Anyways... thank you very much for coming over. Please join us with this sketch at the blog and please visit the other DT-members as well... thanks!

See you later! :)

ABC Challenge: O is for Ovals

Hi there and welcome to another ABC-Challenge I'm in.
Last week Team A made the O for Old fashioned and wow... did I enjoy them a lot! :)

This week it's Team B's turn to create something with the O and it's OVALS.
Used my nestabilities *so in love with them!* and created this card with it:

And a detail of the card, so you can see the glitter:

Used a stamp I have had here for about a year or so, unfortunately the company stopped :(
Luckily I was just in time to order those stamps (this one and loads more others :))

Anyways... thank you very much for coming over. I would really love to leave you a comment, so why don't you just play with the ABC-Challengeblog this week?? Would love to see you there! :)

See you later!

Magnolia Happy Birthday!

Hi there on the 2nd January :)

Hope you had a fabulous 1st!
As I've already made loads of Christmascards the last couple of weeks, it's time to start with other cards again like BIRTHDAY-cards :) Never can have enough, though I must say not all the people I know will get a handmade one. Not all appreciate all the work it takes to make one and those cards are thrown away as soon as their birthday is over.
But... there are a lot of people who DO appreciate them, and as my collection has went down the last few months, it's time to start making some more :)

So here's the first one of 2011: a Magnolia Happy Birthday-card.

And a detailphoto:

Have to say this isn't a Birthdaystamp, but a Christmasstamp from this year (actually last year :)), but think this one is just perfect for Birthdays.

Used some new copics with coloring and I totally love them. Perfectly black and not black with a blue or brown hue. Just perfect :)

Well... I'm off now. Enjoy your day!

See you later!

This card is playing in the following challenges:
- Friday Sketchers: Sketch
- Crazy 4 Challenges: Celebrate something
- Just Magnolia: Anything goes
- Magnolia Down Under: A gift for you
- CES Challenges: Anything goes
- Mark's Finest Paper: Something new (sentiment stamps)

A Teddybear Picknick :)

Sun is shining, sky is blue, the weather is quite nice.... let's go on a Teddybear Picknick!
Oh yeah, it's another Friday for the Teddy Stampers Challenge and this time it's the Teddybear Picknick.

This time you're challenged to be inspired by this song. It was just great and immediately knew what I wanted to make and what stamp to use. Unfortunately the image was stamped, half coloured for 1,5 week before finishing it :)

Anyways... here are the lyrics for the song... Feel inspired :)

If you go out in the woods today
You're sure of a big surprise.
If you go out in the woods today
You'd better go in disguise.
For every bear that ever there was
Will gather there for certain, because
Today's the day the teddy bears have their picnic.

Picnic time for teddy bears,
The little teddy bears are having a lovely time today.
Watch them, catch them unawares,
And see them picnic on their holiday.
See them gaily dance about.
They love to play and shout.
And never have any cares.
At six o'clock their mommies and daddies
Will take them home to bed
Because they're tired little teddy bears.

If you go out in the woods today,
You'd better not go alone.
It's lovely out in the woods today,
But safer to stay at home.

For every bear that ever there was
Will gather there for certain, because
Today's the day the teddy bears have their picnic

Every teddy bear, that's been good
Is sure of a treat today
There's lots of wonderful things to eat
And wonderful games to play
Beneath the trees, where nobody sees
They'll hide and seek as long as they please
Today's the day the teddy bears have their picnic

Here's the project I made:

As you can see I made a card and a bag with brownies *yummie*
I was inspired by the fact that you always have something nice to eat at a picknick, specially homemade stuff, and I just love homebaked brownies :)
I just felt this stamp was perfect for this project, as I made homebaked brownies and the girl is making it with a little help of her little friend teddybear.

Here's a detail of the stamped image:
