ABC Challenge: Z for Zoo

Hi there and welcome to another ABC Challengeblog challenge!

This time we're at the end of the alphabet, the Z for Zoo.

Made this card for my stash as I've got some people to send birthcards to and there are also people buying my cards, so I really need some when needed :)

Anyways... back to the card... kept it really CAS, but I sooooooooo love this one :)

With this card ending the alphabet, I'm also ending my DT-membership for this challengeblog.
All good things come to an end and I really enjoyed being a part of this fantastic team, but I've decided to step down.
It was a hard decision to make, but I know it's the right decision.
But I will defenately be around the ABC Challengeblog, as I always have loved the challenges and they kept me inspired in all kinda ways.

ABC and Basic Grey Challenges

Hi there and welcome to another Saturday!

It's been a while using a Magnolia stamp, but here's another card created with a stamp with one of my fave stampcompanies :)

Today it's time for new challenges at the ABC Challengeblog and the BasicGrey Challengeblog, so I combined them.

On the ABC Challengeblog we have a challenge, created by me... W for Wishes.
And on the Basic Grey challengeblog we like to see you using your punches... Punch it!

ABC Challenge: U for Under the weather

It's the 1st of the month, so time for another ABC-Challenge and it's called "U for Under the weather". Really, we shouldn't have named it like this as I've been under the weather for almost 2 weeks now. Not going into details, but it's not good :(
So that's why I haven't posted that much and what I've posted was sceduled (love it!).
Email isn't working as well, so when you mailed me...sorry... but can't access my outlookprogramm. It's also under the weather :(


But well... I tried to come up with an "Under the weather"-card, and this is it...

Simple, yet very effective and by just changing the sentiment, you can have loads of cards for different occasions.

ABC Challenge: T for Two by Two

Hi there and welcome to another ABC Challenge.
We've come to the T, that's for "Two by Two", use 2 of something.


So here's my card, or better said, 2 cards for you :)

What I used are 2 colors of cardstock, 2 different sentiments, 2 types of rhinestones and 2 cardbases :)

ABC Challenge: Q for Quilt

Hi there and welcome to another ABC Challenge.

This time it's Q for Quilt and to be honest, I really found it a hard challenge. Really had no idea what to make. Then I suddenly knew the answer... making a quilt out of hexagons!! Hmm... this idea was easily dropped, as I found it quite hard to make them without a great liner.
So when cleaning my room, found these papers, stamp and just the perfect purple ink (SU's Perfect Plum!) for this project.

ABC Challenge: P for pockets

This time we've arrived at the letter "P" and we'd like to see some Pocket(s) on your creation.
I've made a criss-crosscard for the first time (oh yeah!! :)) and it was sooooo much fun to do and really easy to make one. Will defenately make one in the future (near of far away that is ;))

Used a lovely Magnolia image. Oh, I just love them!!

ABC Challenge: O for Orange

Hi there!

We just celebrated Queen's Day overhere yesterday and it was fab! Did facepainting from 6.45 am till about 16.00 and I so enjoyed myself.
But after seeing a lot of orange the last couple of weeks (and still more to come with the European Championship football/soccer and the Olympics), it's a hard time for me as I, well... orange isn't quite my fave color to work with *lol* Really... no other country would be this mad finding all sorts of marketing strategies selling their products in shops. You really should have been here 2 years ago with the World Championship football/soccer. Madness all over the place and every year at Queen's Day, the Dutchies are wearing a lot of orange stuff. The funnier, the better ;)

But well... back to topic :)

Right now I like to show you the ABC Challengecard I made for you. This time we arrived at the "O for orange" challenge.

Used one of my latest bought stampsets and I've already used it a lot, so it's really worth the money for me.

ABC Challenge: N for Neutrals

Hi there and welcome to another ABC Challenge!

I probably will be still in bed sleeping after yesterday's awesome craftshow! :)
So I just sceduled this post, so I know it will be posted on time *lol*

This challenge is all about neutral colors. I just used some kraft, chocolate chip and versamark ink. I love this one!

ABC Challenge: M for Magical

Hi there on April Fool's Day! :)

Hope you'll enjoy today as much as I will. Am off to a crafty fair and am really looking forward to it. (the trains have some different routes as normal, so it takes too long before I'm there... no fair for me *sniff*)
Today I like to show you a card for the ABC Challenge DT and this time it's the "M for Magical".
Don't you just loooooooooooooove all those Magnolia fairies?? I sure do, but when I came across some of my fave challengeblogs, I knew I just had to use this stamp. Think I bought it from someone, but am not sure anymore, it's one of those "never used" stamps overhere ;)

ABC Challenge: K for Kraft

Hi there!

It's the 1st of the month, so time for another ABC Challenge.
This time the lovely Patty choose the theme: K for kraft.

Made another CAS-card. It was inspired by cards I've seen in a shop in London last September, that one was also made of kraft and very, very CAS as well. Can't remember the maker of the card, but I really was inspired by it a lot!

So here you have it... The sentiment says "Thank you". Needed some of these cards.

I stamped the image with stazon on the kraftpaper, colored it with my Derwents, cut it out and put it on some 3d-tape.
The set is the newest stampset I recently bought at a great discounter :)

ABC Challenge: Jazz it up with Special Magnolia stamp

This time we have the letter J for you and like to Jazz things up with bling etc.

I made this card with a special magnolia stamp which has only been given away at a Magnolia Event last Spring overhere in The Netherlands :)
Think she's really sweet!

Put some bling on here as I think it's just perfect and not *too* much.

ABC Challenge: I for In Pairs

Hi there and welcome to another cold day! :)

It's the first of the month, so time for another ABC Challenge for all of you.
This time we're seeing the I, and it's for "In Pairs".
I was really struggling with this one. I wanted to make a card with layers, also wanted to use a Magnolia, but... when I was looking through my stamps (oh yeah... it's just so nice doing this, even if you don't do anything with them ;)), I came across this one from Stampingbella and think it's just perfect for this challenge!
Wanted to make a CAS card, and think I did this one pretty CAS. Stamped the sentiment on the cardstock, cut out my colored stamped image and put it there with some 3d foam. Mission completed! :)

Hi en welkom bij alweer een koude dag! :)
Het is de eerste van de maand, dus tijd voor een nieuwe ABC Challenge voor jullie allemaal.
Ditmaal zijn we bij de I aanbeland, en dit is voor "In Pairs", "in paren".
Ik kwam langzaam op gang met deze challenge. Ik wilde een kaart met wat layers maken, wilde ook een Magnolia gebruiken, maar.... toen ik heerlijk door m'n stempels aan het kijken was (oh jawel... het is zooooooo heerlijk om dit te doen, ook al doe je er verder niets mee ;)), zag ik deze Stampingbella en vond dit de perfecte stempel voor deze challenge!
Ik wilde er een CAS kaart van maken en is mij geloof ik wel gelukt. Heb de tekst direct op het cardstock gestempeld, m'n gekleurde afdrukje uitgeknipt en met wat 3d-foam opgeplakt. Missie geslaagd! :)

ABC Challenge: H for Happy birthday! Magnolia Card

Even though I have to wait 8 months till people can say this to me, over at the ABC Challengeblog we have this challenge: H for Happy Birthday!
Ook al moet ik nog 8 maanden wachten voordat mensen dit tegen mij kunnen zeggen, bij het ABC Challengeblog hebben we deze challenge: H voor Happy Birthday!

I used a Magnolia stamp I recently bought from someone else and it's just perfect for this challenge, so am quite happy with it :)
Ik heb een Magnolia stempel gebruikt die ik laatst van iemand overgenomen heb en deze is dus perfect voor deze challenge, dus ben er behoorlijk blij mee :) (en anders had ik wel een andere stempel in "de collectie" die bij deze challenge past)

Wanted to combine some Magnolia challenges, so this is what I made:
Ik wilde een aantal Magnolia challenges combineren, dus dit is wat ik ervan heb gemaakt:

Actually I made 2 colored images, but the first one... uhhmm... thought it was ok to put on the glitter first and than ran through my bigshot with the nesties.... wrong thought! :)
So my image was with loads of glitter and had to make another one... ah well... another experience what I probably won't do again *smile*
Eigenlijk heb ik 2 plaatjes ingekleurd, maar de eerste.. uuhhmmm... ik dacht dat het geen kwaad kon om eerst glitter op het plaatje te doen en dan door de bigshot met de nesties... verkeerde gedachte! :)
Dus dat plaatje zat vol glitter en had dus een nieuwe te maken... nou ja... een ervaring die ik waarschijnlijk niet meer zal nadoen *smile*

ABC Challenge B for Boo!

For this challenge I grabbed an "oldie, but goodie"-stamp from StampingBella. It was when I saw the StampingBella's on cards when I knew I had to "have" Copics and right now I can't live without them! :)
I colored the Bella with only a couple of colors, didn't do my "usual" type of coloring (with 3 colors of the same range, to get some shadow etc.).

So here you have my card... it's cute.. it's black... I love it! :)

Have to tell you we have 2 teams at the ABC Challenge. One of the other teammembers wasn't able to make a project for this week's challenge, so I'm doing it for her.
This week's theme is "W for wish" and we're sponsored by Lily of the Valley (oh wow... who doesn't love these stamps??!!).

I made a card with one of last year's stamp from the Magnolia Fairytale collection (it's my fave collection to date!). The sentiment stamp is from Whiff of Joy (love those sentiments from that collection!).

I also tried a different coloring technique I normally use. Guess it's pretty ok :)

I used the following embellishments: Flowers (2 different kind, Prima and the white one I bought in London last year), ribbon and baubles. I have no idea if glitter also is defined as embellishments, but guess it isn't :)

ABC Challenge: Unusual Fold
