CCWS #56

Hi there and welcome again!

First of all I'd like to wish you all a happy 2013.
I still don't have any computer, and will not get it back within another 1-2 weeks.
But I managed to find a friend where I was able to upload some things and here I am... back with another CCWS creation for you.

This week the sketch has been made by me and you can find it on the CCWS-blog.
And this is the card I created. Pretty clean & simple, but really love it.

Hope you will enjoy this card and hopefully you're able to join us at CCWS with this challenge.

Thanks so much for coming over and I really hope my computerproblems will be solved soon.

Basic Grey Challenge: Anything goes

Hi there and welcome to another BasicGrey challenge!

Unfortunately this will be my last one as well.
It's with pain in my heart doing it, but it's the right thing at this point.

This fortnight's challenge is "Anything goes", so I created a Halloween card. I just loooooove the combination of green, orange, purple and black!

Colored the image with my Spectrum Noir markers and am sooooo extremely happy with them and their storage!
Had a week off work and sometimes I just sat down looking at all those markers, lovely organized by color *lol*
It really made me happy :)

Anyways... back to my card for the BasicGrey challenge....

And a detailphoto where you can see the glitter I put on Tilda's hair and panty ;)

So... from this place in cyberspace I really want to thank all my teamies at the BasicGrey Challenges!!

**LOVE YOU!!**

And I'd like to thank you for coming over.... THANK YOU!!!

Thank you so much for coming over and hope to see you around later on!

Last Tomic Challenge :(

Hi there!

Right now it's a really sad time, as within a few minutes time the TOMIC Challengeblog will close down :(
Remembers me of February 1996... "And from today... there's no more"...

So sad, but I did try to make a last card for this challenge, a Halloweenone.
Totally love this one!

Off course I colored the image with my Spectrum Noir markers and wow... I totally love their newest storing system! You really should see and have it!!

Anyways...back to topic... here's my card:

Thanks so much for coming over and hope to see you around later on. Thanks! :)

CCWS Sketch #41

Hi there and welcome to another Christmas Challenges {with sketches}.

This time it was my turn to make the sketch and you can find it on the CCWS-blog.
But not only you have to use the sketch, we also have a little twist for you and that's to use at least 2 images and mask them together.

We're sponsored by Elphine House Australia and this is what I made:

Used this paper a lot and still have some left :)
Just love  the Christmascolors a lot.

Anyways.... Thanks so much for coming over and hope to see you again later on.
Please check out the CCWS-blog for more information on this challenge, the sketch and the projects the other team-members have made. Thanks!

See you around later on.

Christmas Challenges {with sketches} #33

Hi there and welcome to another Christmas Challenges {with Sketches} and this week it's the Snow Angel's turn to post their cards.

This week Miranda made the sketch.
I turned the sketch and put the sentiment on another place, added some ribbon, a punched border and some embellies and this is the result I got...

It always is such a difficult job to pick a stamp for these challenges as I adore all my Christmasstamps so very, very much. I just love them all and Christmaspapers.... oh... don't start about that one *lol*
Every year I tell myself I have way too many Christmaspapers left from the year before and before and before, but every year I catch myself buying some new lovely papers. It doesn't help red and green being my fave colors, eh?! Ah well...

The sponsor this week is HeinDesign.

Thanks very much for coming over. Please check out the projects the other DT-members have made on the Christmas Challenges {with Sketches} blog.

See you later!

Challenges:
- Totally Gorjuss: It's Christmas
- Magnolia-Licious Highlights: Christmas
- Dutch Magnolia Chickies: Anything goes
- Magnolia Stamp Lovers: Tilda only

Tilda with mouse - Magnolia Summer kit 2012

Hi there!!!

You really can't imagine how happy I was when receiving the Magnolia summerkit today! Really didn't expect it already (even though I thought a few weeks back it would be here any day now...).
The kit is full of lovely fall-image stamps and also some other ones.

As I couldn't wait making a card with one of those stamps... I first had to mount them. Did it last evening and just finished my card (it's just over 1.30 am overhere!!).
When mounted all the stamps, I just knew I wanted to use BasicGrey's Mellow papers. It's a really old line, but I totally love those fall colors a lot!
In fact, my fave season has to be fall as I really love all the pretty colors Mother Nature gives us.

Off course I colored the image with my Spectrum Noir markers. Totally love them and they're sooooooooo easy to work with!!

Anyways... back to the card... here it is... Enjoy ;)

Oh, I'm sorry *lol*...hehe... just wanted to tease you all... *smile*

Here's the card :)

Thanks so much for coming over and hope to see you later today for a new ABC Challenge blogpost.

Spectrum Noir's First Ever Blog Hop

Hi there and welcome to the very first Spectrum Noir Blog Hop!  This week our entire design team has come together to start off summer with a grand celebration of Yellow - the color of summer!

If you have landed here from Leann's blog, you are hopping in the right direction.  If not, pop over to the Spectrum Noir Blog so you do not miss a single stop!

And this is the project I like to show you. Have to admit I'm not really a "yellow-type of person", so it was hard to find yellow colors in my paperstash, but yeah... I like the outcome very, very much :)

And a detailphoto, so you can see the glitter as well..

And even though I'm not a yellowtype of person, it was really easy to color Tilda.

I used the following colors:
Skin: FS1, FS2, FS3, FS4, FS8, CR3
Hair: TN7, TN8, TN9, EB4
Dress and wings (yellow part): GB2, GB3, GB4, GB5, GB6, blender
Shoes and wings (turquoise part): GT2, GT3, BG1
Ground: BG1, BG2, BG3
Shading around Tilda: BT1, BT2

Hoewel ik geen geelkleurig type ben, was het echt heel gemakkelijk Tilda in te kleuren.
Ik heb de volgende kleuren gebruikt:
Huid: FS1, FS2, FS3, FS4, FS8, CR3

Haren: TN7, TN8, TN9, EB4
Jurk en vleugels (geel): GB2, GB3, GB4, GB5, GB6, blender
Schoenen en vleugels(turquoise): GT2, GT3, BG1
Grond: BG1, BG2, BG3
Shaduw rondom Tilda: BT1, BT2

I'm always working from light to dark and back to light again. I think it's the easiest way, but hee... the best part of it all is you can also start with the darkest color going to the lightest one. Just what you feel most comfortable with.
I also used my BG1 for making the shoes and wings (turquoise parts) just a little less turquoise. Love this pen, specially when not using bright colors in your patterned papers. You can really soften your color by coloring this one as last.

Magnolia fairy Tilda 2012

Hi there and happy Sunday!

Only 1 more sleep till Queen's Day and they predict some very great weather with loads of sunshine *whoowhoo!*
Really can't wait till tomorrow, always love that day when everyone seems to be happy, selling loads of stuff (or garbage as I sometimes think *lol*).
I will be there as well, only not selling stuff, but facepainting. Really love doing that as well in my free time and at work.

Anyways... want to show you a card I made with items I bought at the AS-event earlier this month.
Really love this stamp and it was sold out within an hour!!
There were also 2 other people at a booth buying the same paper, and they challenged me to use it, so here it is.

A detailphoto... I really love the way I colored Tilda :)

Thanks so much for coming over! Hope to see you again later on :)

Hi there and happy Saturday to you all!

It was Spring last week, but the last couple of days it's grey and cold! But hopefully this Magnolia Eastercard will bring some warmth and sunshine :)

Today it's time for another BasicGrey Challenge and the theme is "Easter".
Made it with a BasicGrey Picadilly 6x6 paperpad. Love the colors of it!
I couldn't resist using a Magnolia on the card. Love them a lot, but for some reason the Easterstamps aren't among my faves. But well... I like this one, reminds me of my childhood.. painting eggs, hide them and search for them in the livingroom.

Magnolia Tilda card: From my garden to your heart

Hi there!

Oh my... another post for me today... don't get too used to it ;)
When surfing the internet, I found some awesome Magnolia-challenges which are perfect to combine, so I came up with a card with Tilda stamped on it.
It's one of my Maggie's I haven't used before, so it was time to ink her up.

It was a real challenge to find some matching orange-pink patterned papers, but in my collection of BasicGrey paperpads, I just found the best: Green at Heart. Pink and orange in one paperpad... GREAT!!
It's an old paperpad, but I'm someone who likes to keep things as "it will be needed some day in the future" *lol*

Thanks for coming over and hope to see you again! :)

Challenges:
- Totally Tilda: Diecuts and punches
- Simply Magnolia: Bling and bows
- Magnolia Stamp Lovers: Punches
- Stamptacularsundaychallenge: Photo inspiration (I used "flowers" as inspiration)
- Magnolia Down Under Challenge: Colorcombo

ABC Challenge: Jazz it up with Special Magnolia stamp

Hi there and welcome to another ABC Challenge.

This time we have the letter J for you and like to Jazz things up with bling etc.

I made this card with a special magnolia stamp which has only been given away at a Magnolia Event last Spring overhere in The Netherlands :)
Think she's really sweet!

Put some bling on here as I think it's just perfect and not *too* much.

And a detailphoto where you can see the bling a bit better:

Thank you very much for coming over and please join the ABC Challenge this time :)

See you later!
