Guess where I've been :)

Hi there!

Guess where I've been the last 3 days.... oh yeah.... Been in Paris, city of lights, city of loooooooooove.

Photo wasn't taken by me... got it from the internet.

 Been in Paris 2 more times, but not longer than 24 hours and the last time I only spend 2 hours around Sacre Coeur before the Thalys left to The Netherlands.
But now... 3 whole days, started last Tuesday, waking up at 5.00 am!! to get the tram of just before 6 am, train just before 7 am, to be in Paris at 9.30 am!! Whoowhoo!!
Now that's what I call making the most out of everything.

Anyways... thanks for coming over.
Oh yeah... really loooooooove Paris as well (but not as much as Londen *lol*)


By the way... this is a sceduled post (love it!). As I will still be in the Thalys going home when this post goes live *lol*

Finally something new :)

Hi there!

It's been over a week since I published something overhere.
I was on holiday in London for some days, preposted some posts, and after my little break I was so tired and busy cleaning up the stuff I bought, I haven't touched my craftsupplies yet.
Well... that's not completely true, but I just can't show you all the stuff yet... just wait and see :)

Anyways... yesterday I had a meeting with a yahoogroup. It was fun.
We had to make a nametag with theme "animals and flowers".
Going through my stamps, I just knew I wanted to use this this Penny Black stamp in combination with the Tildapapers.
Used some nesties, and something to make little holes in the paper.
Printed my name on the paper, made some grass with a MS punch and used some stickles as well.
I wanted to make it pink, as October is Pink Ribbon month, I also hung my tag on a Pink Ribbon keyholder.

OMG!!!

I just had a great day today.
In the morning I went to one of my fave scrapstores overhere in The Netherlands (have to travel normally about 1,5 hour, but today it took me over 2 hours to get there... ah well...).
Got some nice papers, also the newest line of My Mind's Eye: LUSH.
Love those papers, not the textured though. Well, I like them a lot, but really do not like to work with flock, doesn't feel alright to me.
Anyways... spend too much money *lol* But I know I won't get there for some months (is this a good excuse??).

After that I went to another scrapstore, well, actually more a stampingstore.
But before that I went shopping and got myself some nice sweaters and blouses for spring. Love them!

But... that really wasn't my goal, it was the store as Mr. Holtz, Tim Holtz, would be there!!! *yahooooooooooo*
I follow his blog for some years right now and I just always think it's amazing what that man can make!
I enjoy his art a lot and the best thing... on his blog he posts loads of photos how to make items yourself. Now that's just amazing as it's really easy to make items.

Anyways... It was just amazing meeting him.. he's really nice and sweet and... and... oh yeah.... it was a pleasure meeting him!!

Also bought his newest book and he signed it for me :) (as he did for the other ladies):

Also went on the photo with him (no, won't show it online...sorry...) and all the ladies had to go on the photo with him, so he could put it on his blog :)

Anyways... It was a marvelous day which I like to repeat a lot of times :)

I will be designing for In2Stamps!!!!! A stampcompany from Belgium and I just love their stamps (and they obviously love my style! :)) Really, you should go and see their Winter- and Christmasstamps... way too cute!!

Guess life gets sweeter every day for me....

OMG!!!
I just saw my counter and wowie... it hit over 10.000!!!
So that means some blogcandy from me for you (or as Ushi says... "Here's photo from me for you" ... Dutch people know what I mean ;))

Robbie Williams at Electric Proms

Ok, so it's no secret I just looooooooooove Robbie Williams' music and performances (even travelled to Germany and Copenhagen years ago for some concerts *huge smile*)

Yesterday evening he did a performance for BBC's Electric Proms and wow... did I enjoy myself a lot!!
First I heard him on the radio (through the internet...that's great!!) and later on I saw some pieces of his performance at BBC tv.

Workshop decorating cake

I'm not doing much workshops nowadays, but this was something I couldn't let me pass :)
First we (me and girls of a scrapbookforum) were going to a bakery to decorate a cake and afterwards we went to the scrapbookstore for 3 little workshops... love, love, love decorating the cake.

Unfortunately we weren't able to make the roses and leaves by ourselves, that was a pity for me, would have loved doing that!

Would love to decorate more cakes, but with a bit more items on it... like those great Wilton-cakes!!
But then... OMG! I have to buy so many stuff and a new hobby is born, so I'd better not do it *lol*

But here it is....

A Little Yummy...

Every year, I give myself some birthday presents.
This year is no exeption.
I am in love with the newest line of Magnolia stamps, A little yummy. It's the first line I like all the stamps off, so as it's almost my birthday, I just thought of giving myself some of these stamps...hehe...
I just love Magnolia and this line... wow... I also love to cook and make cakes etc, so this line is just perfect for me! Already got Magnolia's Fall kit and the kit is the same line as these stamps. Perfect!

Well... it's been raining cats and dogs today with also loads of thunderstorms... but hee... it's that time of the year, fall is coming closer and I just love it!!!

1. I'm a Kindergartenteacher and just love my job!!
2. Have been creative since my younger years, I was always papercrafting at my parent's house :) Now they come to me to play :)
3. I enjoy the little things in life.
4. I just looooooooooove fall, all those rich, natural colors.
5. I just looooooooooove stamping and scrapbooking!!
6. My bike's over 15 years old and it has made some thousands of kilometers (let's start with at least 60 km per week).
7. I just love London!! If I'm winning the Staatsloterij I will defenately buy a house there. Just love that city. It's my 2nd home!!

How cool is this!

Went to Maastricht last weekend with my parents and a friend of them.
Really enjoyed myself. Had my camera with me and me and my mom discovered a cool graffiti wall!! It was sooooooooo cool!!
I'm normally not using any actions and stuff like that in Photoshop to get my photos better, but look at this!

Guess I will be using actions a bit more, specially with the photos I took of the wall...

I just looooooooooooooooove the dew drops/baubles!! Perfect for the finishing touch on cards and layouts!
So I just ordered some more about 2 weeks ago with some awesome CC Design stamps... Can't have too many stamps, now can I?? *lol*

I'm sort of quite busy...

So you have to wait a bit more for a new blogpost...
Have been quite busy the last week with work and household and will be for a few days more as well (even though Summer holidays started!! *yeah!!*).

Summer has finally arrived!! Now the sea only has to warm a bit, so I can go to the beach and swim (love doing that!!). The beach is only a 15 min. bikeride away, so very, very nice, specially as it's Scheveningen (very famous) where they sell some yummy, yummy icecream!!

Will have breakfast at my balcony tomorrow (the sun is there from about 8 am till about 4 pm), I so enjoy doing that!

Anyways...gotta go to sleep...

Baby card

One of my nieces got a baby boy last week and made her and her family a handmade card.
Very simple to make, but love it!
