Time for Tea: High Tea invitation

Hi there on a very sunny Sunday afternoon!

Oh, I totally love this weather and it's pretty hot as well when sitting behind the window in my livingroom. I even had breakfast this morning at my balcony (even though I had to wear a warm sweater) and it was very, very nice!

Anyways... as the title of this blogpost says, it's time for a High Tea :)

I came across 2 blogs. At one of them you had to make a little box and on the other one you had to make an invitation.
So I made this box for an high tea invitation. Used "winter tea" inside which is a tea I totally love, combined with the Echo Park Wintertime papers. I *heart* Echo Park. Have to say I still have a lot of this tea overhere and when winter is over I still like to drink it. It's got an apple, cinnamon flavour and I really love it!

Anyways... here's what I made: an invitation to a high tea party :)

I will defenately make more of these! Really easy to make and they will certainly also be a great gift for people who like tea :)

Basic Grey Challenges: Wings

Hi there and welcome to another BasicGrey Challenges Challenge :)
This time we have the theme "Wings", so butterflies, fairies, etc. etc.


It was sooooo hard to choose my image as I totally love this theme! So I went through my images and found this sweet image from Spesch Stamps :)
Think this image is sooooooooo sweet and guess what??!! Spesch Stamps is having a new release the 8th March, so Tuesday there's something new for you all and I can tell ya it's going to be awesome :)


Anyways.. back to the BasicGrey Challenge...
I once bought the 6x6 paperpad with the Euphoria papers. Just in case as it isn't my fave BG line, but... it really comes in handy with these kind of images :)

Teddy Stampers Challenge: Sketch time!

As I totally love working with sketches, I also enjoyed playing around with this one.
Used an older stamp (guess it hasn't seen any ink before *oops*) and patterned papers I bought last year, so guess I have to say I used my stash (uhh... but there's still a lot left :)).

I don't have a special reason in mind to send this card, it can be used for all kind of celebrations: birth, birthday, etc. etc.

Wags'nWhiskers Challenge: More than 1 fold

It's another challenge at the Wags'nWhiskers blog. The theme is "More than one fold". I already made some cards before with more than one fold, but never a card like this one. Love it and it will certainly be a keeper :)

Instyle Stamps March Sketch Challenge card

Yesterday, I showed you the sketch for the ISS March Sketch Challenge. Have you already tried yourself??

And this is it.... Made with a new to release set: "Patty Bunny Wuv". This set will be available this Friday, so tomorrow and will be the perfect stampset to make Easter cards with *yahoo!!*

DWYT Sketch #74, Magnolia Spring Kit 2011 card

It's Thursday 24th February, 00.00 CET, so time for another DWYT-challenge.
This time the sketch is made by me :)

Wanted something different this time: a round sketch, so I kept experimenting in Photoshop and think this sketch is just perfect for a first try :)

Last week Team A made the O for Old fashioned and wow... did I enjoy them a lot! :)

This week it's Team B's turn to create something with the O and it's OVALS.

Used a stamp I have had here for about a year or so, unfortunately the company stopped :(

Basic Grey challenges: Challenge 37 A Sketch

And welcome to another Basic Grey Challenges challenge :)



Oh yeah... knew this for quite a while already and am happy to share that I will be taking part of the designteam from now on *whoowhoo!!*
As a BasicGrey addict it's a fab thing, totally love their papers, embellishments, etc. etc. Have some favorite lines and am happy to share them along the way :) Even though this challengeblog has nothing to do with BasicGrey, besides sharing our creations made with BasicGrey elements, we've got fab sponsors!!

Anyway...back to the challenge...
Heather has made a great sketch we all used for making our cards and this is the card I made with the sketch:

I used the Euphoria-paperpad which, I think, is just perfect to get that flower-powervibe this image has all over. The image is from Spesch Stamps, another DT I'm in and you can find it overhere.

I just loooooooove Spesch Stamps' stamps, as I think they're really cute and happy! I loooooooove being happy!!
