Basic Grey Challenges: Sizzling Summer

Happy Saturday!

It's time for another Basic Grey Challenge! Whoowhoo!!
Don't know about you, but overhere in The Netherlands we hardly saw sun the last couple of weeks. Fortunately the last days the sun has shined a lot and it was quite warm as well, but for the other weeks it sometimes felt like Fall.
But... we're still in Summertime, so what better way to celebrate it with this fortnight's theme: Sizzling Summer!

I used a stamp I haven't used in over a year, so was quite happy to ink it up again :)
Think this stamp defenately means Summer.

I will show you "Cinderella" today. I think she's a bit of an alternative Cinderella. When I think of Cinderella, I always see those 2 mice *lol*

I will show you "Puppy" today. It's such a sweet image to use. I made it a totally "girly" card as there might be some girl/woman out there who loves dogs.

DWYT Sketch #97 Time to say goodbye...

Hi there and welcome to another DWYT sketch, this time made by me :)


Unfortunately it will be my last one *sniff* I will make for this DT.
School will start within a few weeks and next year will be a tough one. Will not go into details, but I really need my energy and need to focus on myself.
Normally I can find a good balance, but have to find it this year a bit better, so I made this tough decision to stop with this DT :(

Hi en welkom bij een nieuwe DWYT-schets, deze keer weer door mij gemaakt :)
Helaas zal dit mijn laatste schets zijn die ik voor dit DT maak.
Het werk start binnenkort weer en komend jaar wordt een pittig jaar. Zal niet in details treden, maar ik heb mijn energie nodig en moet dus even richten op mijzelf.
Normaal gesproken kan ik een goede balans vinden, maar dit jaar moet ik het iets rustiger aan doen, dus heb de moeilijke beslissing genomen om met dit DT te stoppen :(But.... I'm not gone yet... so here you have my last sketch:

Scrapdelight Summer festival

Hi!
Zoals jullie wellicht wel weten, mocht ik in juli guestmember zijn bij Scrapdelight *whoowhoo!!*. Op dit moment loopt er een geweldige zomerwedstrijd met geweldige prijzen!
Dus doe gezellig mee, het weer is nu niet echt zomers te noemen (op gisteren en maandag na), dus niets beters dan heerlijk scrappen, stempelen, creatief bezig zijn.

Hierbij mijn kaartje wat ik heb gemaakt. Vind de Tilda's van deze collectie echt geweldig leuk.

PTI July bloghop

Hi there!

There's a bloghop over at Nichole's blog and I just couldn't resist to participate.

I just loooooooooooooved the inspirational photo and well... uhhmm... it defenately made my creativity flow.
When I saw the photo, I thought about: home (well...the photo totally does this justice), warmth (all the cushions and plaids), cozy (all those cushions and plaids), friendly (the colors)... and those words remind me of Christmas, so what I did was making a Christmascard for this bloghop :)
Totally thinking out of the box, but well... hopefully it's good ;)

I made the card with one of the challenges from the Stamp-A-Faire I did as well: challenge 8. You can find my card at this post.

Anyways... back to the card I made for the bloghop, here it is:

PTI Stamp-A-Faire Challenge 8

Ok, the last one before heading to bed :)

I had so much fun making the cards this evening/this night! Thanks so much PTI!!

Made this a Christmas one and wow... I totally love this one and will defenately be making cards like this one a lot to send to family, friends etc. for Christmas. It's one you can make within 10 minutes *seriously here!!*
As a base I used the red cardstock, trimmed 1" from the front, added some green cardstock behind, stitched some, stamped the images, cut them out, adhered them, stamped the sentiment, voila... *een kind kan de was doen* ;)

So here you have Challenge 8:
I thought I would challenge you to create a card with an front cover that is cut back by an inch or so.
