Follow me in my best adventure ever!
After not publishing on this blog due to major computerproblems and other not so lovely stuff almost 3 years ago, I started a new blog over a year ago with a dream coming true.
After using Stampin' Up! products for about 10 years I decided it was time to become a SU! demo as well.
You can follow me overhere: http://stempelkeuken.blogspot.com

Kleurenkaartenteam Mei: Zwart-Wit/Black-White
Hi there...
It's the last Wednesday of the month, so it's time for the "Kleurenkaartenteam" and this month the colors are "Black-White".
Sometimes you need sympathycards a bit too much in a really short time period :(
Het is de laatste woensdag van de maand, dus tijd voor het "Kleurenkaartenteam" en deze maand zijn de kleuren "zwart-wit".
Soms heb je helaas teveel condoleancekaarten in een zeer korte periode nodig :(

Weeks full of PARTY!!
Hi there!
Well... the people in The Netherlands had some fantastic parties last 1,5 week :)
It all started the 30th April when our Queen, now Princess, Beatrix abdicated and her son Willem-Alexander became our new king.
The whole country was in an enourmous partymood.
The abdication and inauguration was live on the telly, followed by an evening tour on the water, seeing things we're known for and the king loves, like sports, singing, etc.
It was a day to remember! Just loved it!
Normally we're celebrating Queen''s Day on the 30th April, but now it will be King's Day from now on on the 27th April, Willem-Alexander's birthday.
On the 1st and 2nd May the Nieuwe Kerk in Amsterdam, where the inauguration took place, was open to the public, so I went to Amsterdam with my dad.
It was WOW!!!! I just looooooooove flower bouquets and these were just fantastic to see (and smell!).
Here are some photos of that day...
We also remembered the people who died during the 2nd World War on 4th May and on 5th May it was again time to party :)
As that's the day we're celebrating WW2 ended in 1945 and having loads of freedom nowadays.
And now to my projects.... I made a "Dutch" celebration card.
Not only to celebrate our new king and 5th May, but also for someone who will graduate or something... don't know yet ;)
So here it is...
And we're not finished partying yet in The Netherlands, as next Sunday it will be Mother's Day.... so mom... here's my card for you :)
Challenges:
- CAS on Sunday: Sketch
- Dynamic Duos: Baja Breeze and Daffodil Delight

Christmas Cards {with Sketches} #72 My sketch :)
Hi there and welcome back!
It's time for another CCWS... we're at #72 already and it was my turn to provide the sketch :)
I kept the sketch quite simple, but, if you look at all the great cards that are made by the DT of CCWS... it's great for more embellishments as well.
Anyways.... here's my card...
Told you I would be back with some more snowflakes ;)
And a detailshot...
I heat embossed the text... it was a while ago since I did this... should do it more often :)
Anyways... check out the CCWS-blog for more inspiration from my fellow DT-members... they rock.... and when you're there... please join in.... Thanks! :)
Thanks for coming over and see you around later on!

Hi there again *lol*
And here's my 2nd card I created late this evening/early morning ;)
Quite a different one than the one overhere, but I so love it as well!
I used snowflake stamps, but they are so very versatile, I used them as, uhhmm... decoration :)
And here's my card...
And a detailshot...
Guess the colors aren't showing correctly... I used Stampin'Up's Rose Red. Love that color... it's so sparkling (well... at least irl that is :))!
Thanks so much for coming over again and hope to see you later again today as there will be a new skecth challenge at Christmas Cards {with Sketches} and this time I created the sketch :)
Challenges:
- CASE Study Challenge: #139
- The Play Date Cafe: Black, White, Magenta

I have an idea in my head when I should be sleeping... (almost 2 am here *whoopsie*!!)
So after seeing some challenges I wanted to participate in last week, I had no idea, so thought I should skip them.... but then.... this evening...
I just knew I had to get out my lovely snowflakes stamps again (more of that later today ;)).... and here's my first card...
And a detailshot so you can see the dimension of the card as well ;)
Thanks so much for coming over... I'm already planning a new post for just in a couple of minutes ;)

Christmas Cards {with sketches} #70
Hi there and welcome back to another CCWS!
This week Nicolet made the sketch and it's way too cute!
I kept my card really CAS, wanted a clean and white base with only some papers on it.
I colored my stamped image with the Spectrum Noir markers. Got the colors I used on another piece of paper. Will let you know which colors I used.
A detailphoto of my card...
Thanks so much for coming over!
Please join us at the CCWS-blog with this challenge. As every week, you can win a Top 3 spot and there's a sponsored prize as well.... this week from Krea Teja.

Christmas Challenges {with sketches} #68
Hi there and welcome back!
Today it's time for the Snow Angels to show the cards they made for CCWS.
Can you tell I'm in love with my kraft cardstock for my Christmascards recently?? Specially in combination with these gorgeous patterned papers.
It was hard for me to make this card, as it always needs a bit more thinking with all those little squares.
I made my card 5 1/4"x 5 1/4" and my squares 1 1/4", so they would perfectly fit onto my card with a little space left for the sides.
This week is a special one, as we not only have to use the sketch, but also have to use some felt on the project.
I hardly have felt, so I was glad when I found out I had some "cranberry"-colored felt I bought in London last November at a craft store. Perfect for Christmascards.
Diecut the word "merry", the tag and the angel with wings. Also stamped the angel and tag with one of my fave PTI Christmasstampsets :)
Well... enough said... here's my card :)
Thanks so much for coming over and hope to see you around later on.
Now it's time for you to go to the CCWS-blog and participate in this challenge, as you can win some goodies *and who doesn't like goodies??* :)

2 CAS Cards... Best Wishes and Thank you
Hi there!
It's been a while...
Went to the Art Specially Event last Saturday and it was a blast! Met some lovely friends and had the time of my life, feeling like a kid in a candystore :)
Unfortunately I had a terrible pain in the head all day, so didn't do any of the marvelous workshops, only looked and went home quite early. Last couple of years I go by train and take my bike with me so I can cycle from train to the event... always lovely to ride through an almost quiet forest early morning.
Unfortnately the trainride home was terrible.... had an hour extra traveltime...ah well... I've seen Amsterdam during that trip ;)
I'm already experimenting with my newly bought goodies and some projects will be soon on this blog *stay tuned*
My wallet enjoyed itself a lot, as Magnolia wasn't there, I didn't "need" *that* much and haven't spend that much like I normally do *whoopsie!*
Now I'd like to show you some cards I made recently, but haven't posted yet.
The challenges I'm playing in with each card, are under the card itself.
The first one is a card I cased from... myself :)
Oh yeah... I so loved the card I made earlier, I changed some things and here's the "improved" version of it...
Challenges:
- Crazy for CAS: Embellishments
- Card Mania: Diecuts/punches
- DigiSketchChallenge: Theme: Butterflies
- Lexi's Creations: Diecuts/Punches
- Hobbycutz: CAS
- Card Makin'Mamas: No patterned papers
And here's my second card.... with....
Oh yeah... some Bermuda Bay ink!! One of my fave blue colors and it's back in SU's next catalog *WHOOOWHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP*
I was so very unhappy when those incolors disappeared, including melon mambo and razzberry fizz, but the last 2 are already back and now Bermuda Bay and Crushed Curry will be as well... Finally, as I almost ran out of those last cardstockcolors and am so glad I didn't sell those inkpads *lol*
Anyways... back to the project... just a very, very CAS "Thank you"-card, as I needed some of these for people.
Challenges:
- CAS on Sunday: Thank you
- My Time to Craft: CAS One-layer
Thank you so much for coming over and taking the time to visit :)
