Rainbow in the sky

When I wanted to close my curtains this evening I saw this amazing rainbow outside.
Don't you just love rainbows?? I do and I always wanted to have rainbows on my photos.
Love them!!
Have a photo of a rainbow when I was in Vienna on holiday a couple of years ago as well and I just so love it!!

It's been a busy, very, very busy week for me.
Yesterday I had to move my class to the classroom I've been in last year and the year before.
I have the tables all set and the closets are also where I want them to be. Now I "only" have to arrange the little things for the coming schoolyear.

Finally my vacation has started and I so love it!!
Will be cleaning my house drastically, will be painting my hallway and have some more house-issues to deal with. Will be ok.

I also made a blogbanner today and got my blog a new layout. Hope you like it.
I loved the pink, totally adored it, but right now I love the clean, simple white background :)
Please tell me what you like....

Will be making a card right now... so bye bye for now :)

Lovely...

I send Heidi some stamped Bella's as her friend's brother is expecting another child.
Heidi, glad I could help!
I just love the Bella's so much!!
But not only Bella's I'm afraid **LOL**
I made my first ever Hanglar & Stanglar card with the stamps I got from Julie and Lynn from Norway at Scrap-a-Ganza last June. Girls... I love you for getting me these!!!
Made it with a sketch from Friday Sketchers. I love those sketches, but haven't worked with them until this weekend.

Stamps: Hanglar & Stanglar, Cardstock: Bazzill, Patterned paper: Bo Bunny, Flowers: Prima, Buttons: own stash, brads: own stash, pencils: Derwent coloursoft

Played a little with photoshop to make a signature for my items I put on this blog.
Can you inmagine... first surfing the internet for a tutorial, printing the tutorial to make it visual, then making the brush with the tutorial...
Man.... I always need a step by step tutorial to learn, but right now... I think I got it! **YEAH!!**

Thanks for visiting my little blog. Hope you enjoy it!

She has a "Pay it Forward" thing she got from another website and now it's my turn....

"Pay it forward is a wonderful thing that is going on in the blogger world. Once some one has payed it forward to you, you pic three people to pay it forward to. Here in this blogger world, you pick the first three people that comment your blog. Here's the quote for the rules:“I will send a handmade gift to the first 3 people who leave a comment on my blog requesting to join this PIF exchange. I don’t know what that gift will be yet and you may not receive it tomorrow or next week, but you will receive it within 365 days, that is my promise! The only thing you have to do in return is pay it forward by making the same promise on your blog.”I look forward to making some one smile soon! Please leave a message with you e-mail adress and Pay it Forward by posting this message on your own weblog.

Feel free to leave a message as well if you are living outside the Netherlands."

So please.... leave a message with your email and your blog so we can all Pay it Forward :) Thanks!!

Will be creative within a few minutes.
I'm trying to make a header for my blog.... so wish me luck ;)

1000+ visitors and being creative...

Wow!

Can't believe I've had over 1000 visitors the last couple of months (2 or so...), so thank you all very much for visiting my blog :)

Many changes have been around overhere and one of the changes is I will be getting a Kindergarten group 2 next year.
The last 7 years I've had a group 1.
8 years ago I graduated from the PABO (school to become a teacher) and in my final course I also had a group 1 and after my graduation they made an extra group 1 and I was going to teach them, this was group 1d.
And now... after all those years, a group 1 is disappearing, and I'm the one who's going to group 2 after all those years... pretty funny in my humble opinion :)
So that will be a huge change for me.
I will be getting 3 of my kids who are now in my group, 9 others will be going to the other 2 group 2.
And 9 other children who are still in group 1 next year, will go to the other 3 teachers, so I'm really nervous how they will react :)

Anyways.... I guess 2008 is the year of changes for me. Personal and professional :) And with changes I mean HUGE changes for me **LOL**

Well...

I managed to get a photo of one of the projects I made for
Tessa. I made this wallhanging with the newest papers of Sandylion's Kelly Penacci. Also used stickles, purple paint dabber, Junkitz jumprings, Kelly Penacci chipboard and photos of me at Scrap-a-Ganza last June meeting loads of cool people, like Donna Downey, CD and Jenn Starr. Love them all!!

Can you see I just amazed Tessa?? **LOL**

This week I also received the Magnolia Stampkit and I so love those stamps. Today I mounted them on EZ-mount and can't wait to work with them. I love them!!

Here I have a couple of cards I made today.

Stamps: StampingBella, cardstock: ClubScrap, Punch: EK Success (border) and Fiskars (small punches in the border), brads: unknown, Pencils: Derwent, ink: StazOn

2 colleagues of mine are pregnant. Will give them these cards this Monday.

Also made some birthday-cards for 2 people and a kid who's going to be 5 next week.

Stamps: StampingBella, cardstock: ClubScrap, brads: unknown, Pencils: Derwent, ink: StazOn

Stamps: SugarNellie, Cardstock: ClubScrap, brads: Karen Foster, ink: StazOn, pencils: Derwent

So I guess the creativity is getting back on track.
Only 2 more weeks to work, and after that..... getting a holidaybreak for 6 weeks!!! (oh... probably 5 as I have to make loads of things for my new class these weeks....)

See ya later!!

Some new goodies!!

Oh... I just love my new goodies.
This week I received a letter from the mailman my box was delivered at my neighbour's. Only one little problem: he didn't write down which one, so I asked 5 neighbours, but none of them recieved my package :(
So I phoned the office this Friday to ask if they knew where my package was, and they told me it was at the postoffice... **grrrrrrrrr**

So yesterday I finally had time to go there and just look at my new goodies:
I just love Stampin'Up!!
Bought some ribbonholders, more ribbon (who can live without it?? not me!!) and 3 punches.

Will make some with it this evening. Can't wait!!

Stupid me...

Let me just tell you how stupid I've been yesterday...
I totally forgot to take photos of the items I made!!!
I will ask Tessa if she can make some, so I can put them overhere on my blog.

Coming back to my blogcandy.... none of you guessed it right what I showed you :(
I altered a Maya-road tin with some Ranger distress crackle, put some Sandylion stickers on it, a bit of ribbon and what you saw are the 3 Prima flowers on top of the tin.
Inside the tin are handmade cards made with the new Kelli Penacci-line of papers.
Here you can see the tin with one of the cards... though it's a sneak as well...sorry **oops**

Yesterday I've been to a forumday at Tessa's. It was a blast. Really met cool people and we were pampered a whole day long.
Made 2 cakes and didn't need to bring leftovers home, as there weren't any :)
Here are some photos of yesterday.... enjoy!

Just a sneak

Of a project I've just created for Tessa Tegendraads. Will bring it with me this Saturday as they've a forumday where we all meet each other in person. Really looking forward to it.
I know some people who are coming, but most of them I only know from the forum.

So here's the little sneak...

If you know what I made... please leave a comment and maybe there's even some blogcandy to win ;)
I tell you it will probably not be easy to guess it, but who knows...
I will show the whole project this Saturday, so you have time to comment until Saturday 7.30 am (European time = GMT + 1 hour) and I will pick a winner 7.35 am (European time = GMT +1 hour), just in time before I leave for the forumday.

Changes haven't stopped this week, big changes are probably coming within 2 weeks time... well... what can I say...hehe... just nothing about it really :)
Will update about it soon :)
Will also show you a sneak Saturdaymorning of another project I made for Tessa. Will also bring that one with me, so I've been pretty busy scrapping and I love it!!
I'm so glad my mojo came back with SAG, it's so much fun to create things again like the old days ;)
