Happy Birthday Rockstar

Hi there and happy Saturday!

Today I participated in the LIM challenge. Love those ones and hope to participate the following weeks as well :)
I was inspired by the colors, musicnotes and swirls as well.

Overhere the weather has been very nice, finally some warmer. While I didn't bother it was colder the last couple of weeks as I love working with lower temperatures a lot better than hot warm weather :)

Anyways... here's my card:

Thanks for coming over and hope to see you later today. Received some lovely items just in my mailbox and can't wait to play with them :)

Spectrum Noir feat. Magnolia Liberty Tilda 2012

Hi there and welcome to another Tuesday!

Today I like to show you a card I made with my Spectrum Noir markers. Seriously.... practise makes perfect! Love these markers and on the Spectrum Noir blog you can find out how I did the coloring for this sweet limited edition Liberty Tilda 2012 and what colors I used for her.
It's mostly colored with the Blue Grey markers. Really love the grey-spectrum markers a lot, not only the Blue Grey ones :)

Anyways... here's my card...

Thanks so very much for coming over. I hope you will visit the Spectrum Noir blog as well for a lot of inspiration from the DT.

BasicGrey Challenges: Fave colorcombo

Hi there and welcome to my blog :)

Today is the start of a new BasicGrey Challenge... Fave colorcombo.
It sure won't be a surprise what my fave colorcombo will be, but I really was doubting as I like pink and white, red and white, etc. a lot, but I just knew I had to use green and red :)
Red has always been my fave color since I was little and I just loooooooove green as well (just open my closet and you'll find loads of green and red clothes).

So I made a Christmascard for you with my fave colorcombo: Red & Green.
Used a LOTV stamped image. Oh, I just so love those images!

Thanks so much for coming over. Hope to see you later on.
In the meantime... visit the BasicGrey Challengesblog for more fave colorcombo's of the DT. They made some awesome projects as always :)

Wags'nWhiskers challenge: Kraft

Hi there and welcome to another Wags'nWhiskers challenge!

This time we like to see KRAFT on your project and let's be honest, who doesn't like kraft??!! It's so versatile and can be with almost any color.
For my project I wanted to make a 70's kinda look. Just loooooooooove those patterned papers!
Also used "Hannah", my most used Wags'nWhiskers stamp. I just loooooooove her and she's so versatile to use for different kind of cards.

Anyways... here's my card, colored with my Speccies (or Spectrum Noirs as they're called officially ;))

Thanks so much for joining us these 2 weeks.
Hope to see you with a creation as well :)
For now... hop on over to the Wags'nWhiskers challengeblog to see what the other DT-members have made for this challenge.

Christmas Cards {with sketches} #29

Hi there and welcome to another CCWS-challenge.

We decided the time is right to have challenges EVERY WEEK *whoopwhoop!!*
The team is devided into 2 groups and I'm a "Snow Angel"... how appropriate, isn't it :)
This week it's the Snow Angels' turn for the challenge and next week the other group... and in 2 weeks time, there's another post of the Snow Angels.

This week's sketch is made by Claire and we're sponsored by KreaTeja.
There's also a twist to it... No red or green, so I made this card a "winter-themed".
Off course I colored the image with my Spectrum Noir markers. I totally love them!!

Thanks so much for coming over. Hope to see you at the CCWS-blog with your creation as well :)

MCM #4: Merry Christmas Monday

Hi there and welcome to another MCM: Merry Christmas Monday. Hmm... really like that name :)

Today I have another Christmascard to show you which I made a few weeks back with the same stampsets from previous posts.
Really CAS, but I love it and that's the most important :)

Used different cardstock than the last cards, it's got structure in it and thought it was just perfect for this card :)
Added 2 red gems, just perfect :)

Thanks very much for coming over and hope to see you later on! :)

- LIM: Something Shiny

Spectrum Noir's First Ever Blog Hop

Hi there and welcome to the very first Spectrum Noir Blog Hop!  This week our entire design team has come together to start off summer with a grand celebration of Yellow - the color of summer!

If you have landed here from Leann's blog, you are hopping in the right direction.  If not, pop over to the Spectrum Noir Blog so you do not miss a single stop!

And this is the project I like to show you. Have to admit I'm not really a "yellow-type of person", so it was hard to find yellow colors in my paperstash, but yeah... I like the outcome very, very much :)

And a detailphoto, so you can see the glitter as well..

And even though I'm not a yellowtype of person, it was really easy to color Tilda.

I used the following colors:
Skin: FS1, FS2, FS3, FS4, FS8, CR3
Hair: TN7, TN8, TN9, EB4
Dress and wings (yellow part): GB2, GB3, GB4, GB5, GB6, blender
Shoes and wings (turquoise part): GT2, GT3, BG1
Ground: BG1, BG2, BG3
Shading around Tilda: BT1, BT2

Huid: FS1, FS2, FS3, FS4, FS8, CR3

Haren: TN7, TN8, TN9, EB4
Jurk en vleugels (geel): GB2, GB3, GB4, GB5, GB6, blender
Schoenen en vleugels(turquoise): GT2, GT3, BG1
Grond: BG1, BG2, BG3
Shaduw rondom Tilda: BT1, BT2

I'm always working from light to dark and back to light again. I think it's the easiest way, but hee... the best part of it all is you can also start with the darkest color going to the lightest one. Just what you feel most comfortable with.
I also used my BG1 for making the shoes and wings (turquoise parts) just a little less turquoise. Love this pen, specially when not using bright colors in your patterned papers. You can really soften your color by coloring this one as last.

A very big secret! SSShhhhhhh I can reveal now!!

Whoooowhoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I'm soooooooo glad I can finally share my biggest secret to all of you!!
Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah!! I can now say I'm officially a part of the Spectrum Noir DT!!!! *doing a really, really happy dance*
I already knew this for about 2,5 month, so after working behind the scenes *lol*, today is the day I can finally reveal it.
You've already seen a couple of cards on this blog made with Spectrum Noir markers, but I just haven't told you I worked with those markers..hehehe... And there is a lot more coming!

Today, I like to show you a card, something really different I normally show overhere, but I like to get the most out of my markers, not for just coloring stamped images.
And this technique is just perfect for it, so here's my card:

If you like information how this project was made... just go to the Spectrum Noir website and visit the blog. There you will find the step by step tutorial for this card and also a lot more inspiration from the other DT-members. It's updated really regular, every day :)

Wow... I still can't believe it *whoop whoop*

Anyways... if there's something you like to know about Spectrum Noir markers, don't hesitate to contact me, would love to help you out! :)

I just looooooooooove my Speccies (for the Dutchies: I just loooooooove spekkies, so I thought it was quite funny to name my Spectrum Noir markers Speccies *lol*)

Thanks so much for coming over and hope to see you later on!

Christmas Cards {with sketches} #28

Hi there and welcome to another CCWS challenge.

Didn't use a colored image this time, but just stamped images and cut those out. Oh, I really love this SU-set and is so versatile!
IRL this card is pretty small, used the largest nestabilities scalloped circle and everything is right there *lol*

This time we're sponsored by "Alles om te scrappen".

Thanks so much for coming over and would love you to join us in this challenge. Oh yeah... a real challenge for me as well a round card :)
Please visit the CCWS-blog for the sketch of this card and to see the other DT's creations... they're fab!!

MCSC: Rainbow/Regenboog

Hi there!

It's time for another MCSC-challenge. This time we are using the theme "Rainbow". You can make a real rainbow, you can be inspired by the colors of the rainbow... just a few ideas :)
Anyways... here's my card:

Hier is m'n kaart:

Actually this is my 3rd card I made with this theme. The first 2 didn't make the camera, as I had put the colors in the wrong place *oops*
Thanks for coming over. Please visit the MCSC-blog and hope you are able to join us! :)
See you later!
Tot de volgende keer!

ABC Challenge: Q for Quilt

Hi there and welcome to another ABC Challenge.

This time it's Q for Quilt and to be honest, I really found it a hard challenge. Really had no idea what to make. Then I suddenly knew the answer... making a quilt out of hexagons!! Hmm... this idea was easily dropped, as I found it quite hard to make them without a great liner.
So when cleaning my room, found these papers, stamp and just the perfect purple ink (SU's Perfect Plum!) for this project.

And here it is...

Thanks so much for coming over. Please join us this challenge and visit the ABC Challengeblog. Thank you!

See you later! :)
