Christmas Cards {with Sketches} #72 My sketch :)

Hi there and welcome back!

It's time for another CCWS... we're at #72 already and it was my turn to provide the sketch :)
I kept the sketch quite simple, but, if you look at all the great cards that are made by the DT of CCWS... it's great for more embellishments as well.

Anyways.... here's my card...
Told you I would be back with some more snowflakes ;)

And a detailshot...

I heat embossed the text... it was a while ago since I did this... should do it more often :)

Anyways... check out the CCWS-blog for more inspiration from my fellow DT-members... they rock.... and when you're there... please join in.... Thanks! :)

Thanks for coming over and see you around later on!

Sometimes...

Sometimes...

I have an idea in my head when I should be sleeping... (almost 2 am here *whoopsie*!!)
So after seeing some challenges I wanted to participate in last week, I had no idea, so thought I should skip them.... but then.... this evening...

I just knew I had to get out my lovely snowflakes stamps again (more of that later today ;)).... and here's my first card...

And a detailshot so you can see the dimension of the card as well ;)

Thanks so much for coming over... I'm already planning a new post for just in a couple of minutes ;)

Sunshine is here... time for a winter card :)

Hi there!

Finally the sun is shining... it's still windy, but on my balcony it already is nice to sit with a tshirt instead of wearing a winter jacket ;)

Needed some cards for someone who's already ordered Christmas/Wintercards, and this is one of them...

And a detail...

Thanks so much for coming over and hope to see you later on :)

Christmas Cards {with sketches} #70

Hi there and welcome back to another CCWS!

This week Nicolet made the sketch and it's way too cute!
I kept my card really CAS, wanted a clean and white base with only some papers on it.
I colored my stamped image with the Spectrum Noir markers. Got the colors I used on another piece of paper. Will let you know which colors I used.

A detailphoto of my card...

Thanks so much for coming over!
Please join us at the CCWS-blog with this challenge. As every week, you can win a Top 3 spot and there's a sponsored prize as well.... this week from Krea Teja.

Christmas Challenges {with sketches} #68

Hi there and welcome back!

Today it's time for the Snow Angels to show the cards they made for CCWS.
Can you tell I'm in love with my kraft cardstock for my Christmascards recently?? Specially in combination with these gorgeous patterned papers.

It was hard for me to make this card, as it always needs a bit more thinking with all those little squares.
I made my card 5 1/4"x 5 1/4" and my squares 1 1/4", so they would perfectly fit onto my card with a little space left for the sides.

This week is a special one, as we not only have to use the sketch, but also have to use some felt on the project.
I hardly have felt, so I was glad when I found out I had some "cranberry"-colored felt I bought in London last November at a craft store. Perfect for Christmascards.
Diecut the word "merry", the tag and the angel with wings. Also stamped the angel and tag with one of my fave PTI Christmasstampsets :)

Well... enough said... here's my card :)

Thanks so much for coming over and hope to see you around later on.
Now it's time for you to go to the CCWS-blog and participate in this challenge, as you can win some goodies *and who doesn't like goodies??* :)

Christmas Cards {with sketches} #64

Hi there!

Today it's time for another CCWS and we're at #64 already! Can you believe it??!!
This week you can win a fantastic prize by Scrap it and Wrap it.

Made the card with the CCWS sketch you can find at the blog.
Colored an exclusive Magnolia image with my Spectrum Noir markers. Ohhh... I love them!

And have you seen the Spectrum Noir challenge as well... it's to add a bit of glitter to your project and who doesn't love adding some sparkles to your creations?

So here's my card....

And a detailphoto of the image...

Thanks so much for coming over and hope you can join us this week with the great sketch you can find at the CCWS-blog.

See you around later on! :)

CCWS #56

Hi there and welcome again!

First of all I'd like to wish you all a happy 2013.
I still don't have any computer, and will not get it back within another 1-2 weeks.
But I managed to find a friend where I was able to upload some things and here I am... back with another CCWS creation for you.

This week the sketch has been made by me and you can find it on the CCWS-blog.
And this is the card I created. Pretty clean & simple, but really love it.

Hope you will enjoy this card and hopefully you're able to join us at CCWS with this challenge.

Thanks so much for coming over and I really hope my computerproblems will be solved soon.

Kaartenketting: Blauw en zilver

Hi there!

*update*
Sorry for my awesome absence the last weeks, but am feeling terribly sick :(
First I had a major pain in the back and wasn't able to move properly (crawling on your knees through your house, just so you don't feel any stings isn't funny and felt really tired from only sitting/lying in my bed/couch and walking... like 5 min. lying down, 5 min. walking, 5 min. sitting and that all day long... terrible!).
And if that wasn't enough I now have a terrible pain in my ear and throat for almost a week now and seems like nothing helps at the moment, so better go to a doctor if this doesn't get any better. Also am talking like a seal at the moment...
So all by all... 3 weeks further... it can't be any more terrible, specially during Christmas.

So I'm really sorry if I haven't responded to any emails etc., but am really tired and really don't feel sitting behind my computer. The first 2 weeks I wasn't even able to sit for 2 minutes, so that's getting better.

I already sceduled this post before getting sick and haven't made a proper card since this one..
Hopefully will be back within a couple of days...

**end of update**

Hi there!

Today I like to show you a card I made for the kleurenkaartenteam.
You are supposed to make a card with blue and silver. Great Christmas/Wintercolors.

Only problem was/is... I don't have any silver paper, so I had to be a bit creative and used my silver embossingpowder.
And the best thing is... this card didn't take me too long to make.
Embossed the edges of my mat under the blue paper with the silver embossingpowder.
Stamped the images, embossed them as well. Punched out the ornaments and put them on the card.
Easypeasy...

So here you have it...

Thanks so much for coming over and hopefully you have had a fantastic Christmas Day and will have a lovely Boxing Day as well today.

Christmas Challenges {with sketches} #55

Hi there and welcome to another CCWS.

This is our last challenge for this year and a very special one as there's some candy up for grabs at the DT-members' blogs!
Oh yeah... just read on...

We all choose our fave sketch of this year and made a card with it.
I choose sketch #31 as it was my first one I made for the CCWS-DT a couple of months ago and yeah... I still like it!

So here's my take...

Made with one of my fave Christmasstamps... looooooooove my cats!

And here's the little surprise I have for you...

Some patterned papers, embellishments (some more will be added to your prize) and one of my all time fave Magnolia Winterstamps.
Please visit the CCWS-blog for the rules of this challenge and really hope you can join in.

Thanks so much for coming over and hope to see you later on!

Christmas Cards {with Sketches} #53

Hi there and welcome back...

It's been a while for updating my blog and being online. Busy with all the Sinterklaascelebrations at work.
Today it's time for another CCWS with a twist this time... make a bag!

I hardly have any paperbags, got them (that's 5 of them in totall...) in 3 different sizes... small, bit taller and tall (perfect for a magazine and other stuff).
The small one really was too small for the sketch, the tall one too big and the middle one... uhh... not that perfect, but it will do ;)
Instead of using paperpads, I used some scrapbookpapers from 2005 and yeah... still love my Doodlebugcollection.

Anyways... back to the challenge...

This week we're sponsored by Make it Crafty.

And here's my take on the sketch which you can find at the CCWS-blog.
**sorry for the terrible photo.... but due to all the Sinterklaascelebrations, I left my best camera at work and forgot to bring it with me to take photos... Will try to make a better one later on...**

Thanks so much for coming over and hope to see you around later on.

Kaartenketting Rood en Groen

Hi en welkom!

Hi and welcome... this time the post will bilangual.

Ditmaal heb ik weer een kerstkaartje voor jullie om te laten zien :)
Hiermee doe ik ook mee met de kaartenketting en weet je wie er nog meer mee doen... nou, dat zijn nogal wat personen!

This time I got another Christmascard to share with you :)
I'm also participating with the "kaartenketting/chain of cards" and you know who else will be participating... well... loads of persons are!

Every month they have a colorchallenge and this time they're my faves to work with: red and green.
And with these colors and this time of the year, you can't escape from making Christmascards.
I've been playing around with some nice new stuff I received a couple of weeks ago. Am really happy with it!
Made some more CAS-cards with it, as they're one of my fave cards to make.

Dus hierbij dan mijn kaartjes...
And here are my cards...

Hier is de lijst met alle deelnemers van deze uitdaging. Het zijn er heel wat, maar dat maakt het wel zo gezellig en leuk :)
Maak gerust een rondje langs al deze mensen met fantastische uitwerkingen van deze challenge.
And here's the list of all the participating people of this challenge.
There are many, but this will also make it happy and fun :)
Please visit them as they made some lovely cards for this challenge.

Another Christmascard and back from...

Some serious Christmasshopping in London :)

Oh yeah... finally, after 17 years of going to London almost every year, I finally was there just a couple of weeks before Christmas and was able to see all the gorgeous decorations in all the shops, beautifull Christmaslights in the streets and so much more.
Never been there so short before Christmas and wow... finally been there!
A dream came true these last couple of days :)

So... with me being in the Christmasspirit, here's another Christmascard I like to show you.
Made it with my Speccies, aka Spectrum Noir markers.
Very simple, very CAS, but sooooooo love it!
It's a 4x4" card, so very little.
Love the effect of just an image and sentiment stamp. Keep things focussed on it.

Thanks so much for coming over and hope to see you again later on!

Christmas Cards with Spectrum Noirs

Hi all!

Today I like to show you a very, very CAS-card I made recently with my Speccies aka Spectrum Noir markers.

Stamped the image and only used 3 colors to color the image. Couldn't be any simpler ;)

Scored some lines on the bottom of the card for some effect and added some stickles on top of the tree.

Love this card!

Thanks so much for coming over and hope to see you later on! :)

So here's my card, made with a pre-colored image as I have loads of these patterned papers left it's easy to color stamped images one evening and don't have to bother about the coloring and papers used.

Thanks so much for coming over.
Please visit the CCWS-blog for Nicolet's sketch and more inspiration from the DT. Thank you!

See you later on!
