Wags 'n Whiskers challenge: Anything but a card

Hi there!

It's time for another Wags'nWhiskers challenge, this time set by me. It's time to make "anything..... but a card" :)

And this is my project, a bookmark. I really needed one badly, so this challenge was the perfect one to make one and here you have it. Pulled out my Derwent's after a long time not seen on this blog (I just don't show everything I make) and colored on craft.

I used "Rhiannon" (you can buy her here or here) as my image. Just loooooooove those fairies!
Thank you very much for coming over!
Please visit the Wags'nWhiskers blog to see what the other DT-members have made (they are AMAZING!!!). I would love to invite you to play along and see what you do with this challenge.

See you later! :)

Magnolia-licious Christmas All Year Long Bloghop

Hi there!

Welcome to another Magnolia-Licious Christmas All Year Long Bloghop!
If it's correct, you've came here after visiting the Magnolia-Licious Christmas All Year Long Blog, the starting point for today and I'm the first person on the hop this month.
At this blog there's a bloghop every 25th of the month.
And as I really don't like all the stress at the end of the year with making Christmascards I thought this was one of the ways to get a little less stressed :)
So I decided to participate and it also challenges me to use my Christmas Maggies all year long.

Anyways... here's the card I made for this hop:

And a detailphoto of all the glitter:

Thank you very much for coming over. Your next stop on the hop is Carissa and she's got something amazing to share with you!

Thanks again for taking the time to come over and see you later! :)

This card is also playing in the following challenges:

Another Christmascard

Oh boy, oh boy... for some reason I'm totally into the Christmasspirit with making cards and today I'd like to show you another one I made recently.
Made with a stamp I bought in London last Fall. Totally love their stamps and can't get enough of them.
I just fell in love with it seeing it the first time, but haven't been using it since recently and I love it!! :)

Anyways... here's the card, made it quite simple though...

And a little detail of all the glitter I used on the tree :)

This is it really.... thank you very much for coming over and hope to welcome you again very soon :)

See you later!

This card will play in the following challenges:

Whiff of Joy and Little Claire's Challenge cards

Hi there and welcome to another sunny Sunday!

Oh wow... the weather's been so lovely the past weeks, though I have to say I wish it would rain some days so all the trees, plants and flowers get some water from our mother, Mother Nature :)

Today I'd like to show you 2 cards I made for some challenges.

First of all I got a card made with a cute Whiff of Joy image. I so love their images, specially the ones designed by Elisabeth Bell :)
About 2 weeks ago I discovered an online craftshop in the city I live in and surprise, surprise, they also have a real craftshop, so was very surprised about that one, specially as they carry Whiff of Joy images *huuuuuuuuuge smile here!* And as that shop is situated almost besides a hospital I drive by every day from work...whoowhoo... well.. you know what I mean ;)
So I bought this stamp with another WoJ one, some papers and some more little stuff. Didn't buy that much as they, to be honest, don't carry the things I really, really enjoy to play with, but who knows what the future will bring :)
I came across the WoJ challengeblog today and wanted to play along. And as it was way too hot this afternoon to enjoy the sun at my balcony, I decided to play along.

So here you have my first card:

And a detailphoto where you can see the bling on the butterflies:

This card is playing in the following challenges:
- Whiff of Joy: Sketch
- Scrapdelight: Inspired by photo (I was inspired by the colors and with all the things on the picture you can make something, and I think that when you dream, you can do anything you want!)

And right now it's time to show you a card I made with a stamp I bought last September at a stamping and scrapbooking show in London, UK!!
Never ever heard of this company, Little Claire's, before, but wow... they have some lovely stamps out there and I bought several of them in London, but.... never used them till now that is! :)
Wanted to play along with their last challenge, but for some reason I just forgot, but now it's time to take part.
Made it a Christmascard as I don't wanna hurry the last months of this year making them.

So here you have my card:

And here some detailphotos where you can see the glitter I put on the snow I also put on the card:

And what's a roof without any snow when it snowed??!! So here you have it:

This card is playing in the following challenges:
- Little Claire's: Sketch
- Jingle Belles: Spirit of Christmas past
- Crafty Hazelnut: Inspired by photo (see their blog, I was inspired by the stocking which are at the chimney, and SantaClaus who brings the presents through the chimney)
- Winter Wonderland: Christmas colors

Thank you very much for coming over!

Enjoy your evening and see you later! :)

Instyle Stamps November bloghop

Hi there and welcome to this month's Instyle Stamps bloghop!

If you've came here by visiting the sweet Taylor, you're on the right track, if not, please start at the very beginning... the Instyle Stamps blog. Thank you! :)

This time the theme is "Your fave holiday song". It was quite simple to use Happy New Year Chloe for this bloghop, and after that I realized Abba's song "Happy New Year" just couldn't fit any better.

So here you have it:

No more champagne
And the fireworks are through
Here we are, me and you
Feeling lost and feeling blue
It’s the end of the party
And the morning seems so grey
So unlike yesterday
Now’s the time for us to say...

Happy new year
Happy new year
May we all have a vision now and then
Of a world where every neighbour is a friend
Happy new year
Happy new year
May we all have our hopes, our will to try
If we don’t we might as well lay down and die
You and i
Sometimes I see
How the brave new world arrives
And I see how it thrives
In the ashes of our lives
Oh yes, man is a fool
And he thinks he’ll be okay
Dragging on, feet of clay
Never knowing he’s astray
Keeps on going anyway...

Happy new year
Happy new year
May we all have a vision now and then
Of a world where every neighbour is a friend
Happy new year
Happy new year
May we all have our hopes, our will to try
If we don’t we might as well lay down and die
You and i

Seems to me now
That the dreams we had before
Are all dead, nothing more
Than confetti on the floor
It’s the end of a decade
In another ten years time
Who can say what we’ll find
What lies waiting down the line
In the end of eighty-nine...

Happy new year
Happy new year
May we all have a vision now and then
Of a world where every neighbour is a friend
Happy new year
Happy new year
May we all have our hopes, our will to try
If we don’t we might as well lay down and die
You and i

And here's the project I made:

I just loved creating this little thing. So great for some gifts etc. to give. And I just needed some sparkle on Chloe :)

Anyways... this is it for me, hope you've enjoyed my little project.
The next stop on the bloghop is Cyndi. She has something amazing for you! :)

Thank you so much for visiting and don't forget to go to the Instyle Stamps blog to let us know which project you like best (it would be nice if it could be mine *hint* LOL).

See you later!

Magnolia Wedding card

I just can't wait for the new Magnolia Weddingstamps to arrive at my place. Ordered them yesterday and hopefully they will be here tomorrow or Wednesday.
Bought this cute couple a few months ago, way back in November 2009, so over 6 months ago, at a big craftfair. I really love this stamp a lot and already made several cards with them.
So finally this week the other stamps of the collection will arrive (oh... I must admit I bought some more Weddingcollection stamps in November, so didn't had to order the "whole" collection ;)).

Anyways... here's the card I made:

I just love the combination of the grey/silver/white papers with a bit of color of the flowers.

And a detail to see some more sparkle:

Cardstock: Bazill; Patterned papers: Making Memories; Stamp: Magnolia; Ink: Memento; Stickles: Ranger; Flowers: Magnolia and Prima; Ribbon: Stampin'Up; Coloring Medium: Copics

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Sketch online

This weekend there's another sketch at one of my yahoogroups... I so love working with sketches!
Used the Magnolia bridalcouple I bought a few months back and I believe those stamps aren't released yet :)
I bought this stamp as I hardly have any stamps for a wedding, so I bought this one and some others (which I can, by the way, use for more occasions than weddings).

Anyways... here's my card:

And here's a detailphoto of the glitter I put on the bride :)

Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned paper: Making Memories; Baubles: StampingBella; Stamp: Magnolia (couple and rose) and StampingBella (sentiment); Ribbon: Stampin'Up; Stickles: Ranger; coloring medium: Copics; Sewingmachine

Challengecard

The sun has been shining since yesterday, so Spring is defenately around the corner.
It's time for it as well, as we had a long, long and cold winter overhere in The Netherlands. Haven't seen so much snow for 2 months long!

Anyways... time for a "Spring"card with the delicious papers of My Mind's Eye (I so love their new line "Quite Contrary"! Totally my kind of colors!)
Pull out my sewingmachine for a bit of a altered look and joined 2 challenges:
Create4Fun (sketch, turned actually)
Stampavie and more (Theme: Spring)

Here's my card...

Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned papers: My Mind's Eye; Stamp: Magnolia; Flowers: Prima & own stash; Leaves: Prima; Baubles: StampingBella; Ribbon: American Crafts; Copics; Letter stickers: Making Memories

This month the challenge is "Make an easel-card" and I just love them!!
They're really easy to make! Go and try it yourself and upload your card at the In2Stamps Challengeblog and see what all the other DT-members have made.

Here's a detail of my easel-card. I'm not a person that likes glitter that much, but sometimes it's just the right thing to use (at least I think so *lol*).
