Meet Singing Al, a stamp created by Nutshells! I just love this stamp and thought it would suit the paper perfectly with the skulls!
It's one of the new stamps Nutshells will be releasing on 6th July! So you all have to wait a bit, but it's worth waiting, I can tell you! :) Coloured him with my Copics and man... do I really need to learn much about Copics! Specially making highlights. But it's getting better each time, so I'm improving myself (but not too fast in my opinion ;))
Look what I found in my mailbox today!!! 4 really awesome Nutshells stamps to make my guest designerwork with!! Including 2 which will be released on 6th July!! Really can't wait to play with them :) They are just sooooooooooo adorable!!
You can buy the stamps at Nutcrafters. So hurry!! What are you waiting for??!!
I also like to thank you for all your warm and nice comments at my last post... thanks!! You can't believe how much I love feedback and it's pretty strange things you make are loved by other people as well :)
Did manage to scrap a lot and make some cards the last days **yahoo** And tomorrow will not be any exception ;) So please be patient and you will get some more regular updates from me the coming days. Have to make some photos of the things I made and I'm full with ideas to make! Just love that!
I'm also enjoying the fine weather and it's going to be warmer and warmer the coming days **yahoo as well** Summer has finally arrived!! Now the sea only has to warm a bit, so I can go to the beach and swim (love doing that!!). The beach is only a 15 min. bikeride away, so very, very nice, specially as it's Scheveningen (very famous) where they sell some yummy, yummy icecream!!
Will have breakfast at my balcony tomorrow (the sun is there from about 8 am till about 4 pm), I so enjoy doing that!
There's a challenge over at Nutshell's blog. Go check it out! The theme is "Make a summer card" and you can win 2 awesome stamps!!
Here's my take on the challenge... it's miss Coco. I just so love the glasses she has. Coloured her with my newly bought Copic Ciao-markers. Wow!! I just love the intensity of them. Something completely different than the Derwent Coloursoft pencils. I just have to practice a bit more, but I already like the way the stamped images came out. Made this card with a digi-stamp, but the Nutshells are REAL stamps, no digi about it ;)
Go check out the Nutshell's blog this Monday as it will be the release date of the summer themed stamps!
Yesterday, I went shopping in Rotterdam and extended my Copic collection with some new colors. Didn't buy them all, will buy some later this month. You have to spoil yourself every now and then, right??
Also completed my Derwent Coloursoft collection, bought the last pencils I needed and I'm glad I now have them.
Also bought some clothes (really like bargains, like sales with 70% off the original price ;) and a great, and I mean really great diary for next schoolyear. It's the one of "PIP", really cool and sooooooooo love the design. Will make a photo of that one later this week.
Really enjoyed myself, relaxed a lot yesterday and went home with satisfaction.
And tomorrow the real life begins...... have to work, but only 4 more weeks before Summer Holidays starts!! **yahoo**
Loads of things are going on here... working on quite a few cards for people to send and people who asked me to make some for them and other projects. Nothing to show yet, but will make it up with you this coming weekend :)
And what about a challenge.... Please visit the Nutshells-blog and win some awesome stamps!!
Will be shopping tomorrow and buy myself some new Copic markers. A new addiction is born...hehe... Only kidding, love to colour my stamps with the Derwent pencils, but sometimes I just need a more brighter/intensive colour, and as there's a great offer... can't let it go *lol* Will also go to the market over there, and they have a great booth with ribbons and laces. Can't wait... Ow... just realise it's 12.00 am .... oh well.... sleep tight and see you later this weekend...
Good Morning, today we would like to introduce you to our new Nutshells DT. It was a real tough decision and every entry we received was amazing, but we couldn't choose them all - we couldn't even choose 3! So we have chosen 5 DT members to give our new NUTS a great home: Jacilynn Karen Tammy Poppet Cathy
We also have a Guest DT member for the month of July: Angélique Please do check out their blogs and fantastic creations. Tomorrow we will be posting a challenge to end our first week, and have a great prize up for grabs.
**doing the happy dance!!**
They have some awesome stamps, the Nutshells, and their summer stamps will be released this coming Monday!!
Can't wait to play and see them!!
My hands are itching *LOL*
I specifically like Coco (named after Coconut...hehe... Love their names, all named after a nut *lol*)
Here's a sneak preview of Coco...
Thank you so much Katie and Colette for this great opportunity to work with your awesome stamps!!
OMG!! You just have to take a look overhere... Those are just gorgeous stamps!! Came there just surfing the internet and they have a great blog as well!
They are looking for desingteam members to work with these stamps and hey, when I saw that stamp and layout we had to put a card together with, I grabbed my fave papers at this moment (Bo Bunny's Alissa) and created the card you will see under the adorable digi-stamp. Please let me know what you think about it :)
For making cards the last few days. Have been creating quite a few and will show you some in the next days. Here's one that I made for Dutch Dare Card Challenges-blog. Hope you will like it as much as I do ;)
It's possible you don't see my followers-gadget. Please click here for updating, so you can see them and be a follower yourself :)
Had trouble with this myself...
