Kerstkaarten workshops

*Please scroll down for the tag I made*

*THIS POST WILL BE IN DUTCH*

Hi allemaal,

scrapping_angel (at) casema (punt) nl

Workshop decorating cake

I'm not doing much workshops nowadays, but this was something I couldn't let me pass :)
First we (me and girls of a scrapbookforum) were going to a bakery to decorate a cake and afterwards we went to the scrapbookstore for 3 little workshops... love, love, love decorating the cake.

Unfortunately we weren't able to make the roses and leaves by ourselves, that was a pity for me, would have loved doing that!

Would love to decorate more cakes, but with a bit more items on it... like those great Wilton-cakes!!
But then... OMG! I have to buy so many stuff and a new hobby is born, so I'd better not do it *lol*

But here it is....

Some details...

So... do I have to tell you the cakes tastes great, and I mean really great????

SAG

The last SAG... maybe forever?? I defenately not hope so, as this Saturday I enjoyed myself the best I could.
Did some awesome workshops, like the 2 of Karen Burniston (Joker's Wild & Oh Tannenbaum) which are absolutely great!!
Also liked the Poppetology workshop of Lucy a lot!!! Really, really lovely and I will finish this one this weekend.
Also did a workshop by Michelle van Etten. Already followed a workshop of her earlier this year, but this one..uhh... it was great if you didn't do this kind of thing already at home, and I did... so I thought it was ok, but nothing new for me.
Did a workshop with Cheryl Mezzetti (??) and she's a really lovely person. The workshop..uhhhmm... liked it, but not "that".

Had marvelous food all day, and the chocolate cupcakes were jummie!!!

It was so nice to see many people back, including Mary, a really sweet granny from the UK.
Mary... we'll defenately keep in touch! :)
And Lynn... you're always welcome here!!

Thank you all so much for a marvelous, never to forget, day!!
Hopefully we'll be meeting each other real soon again. Love ya!!

Did not take my camera with me, as I had to travel by bike and I already had my tote with me and my cropbag. Seeing myself with another large camerabag wasn't my thing...

A little sneak peak...

Of the Christmascards I will be sending to people this year... It was so much fun to make these!!
I made 16 of these cards, 16 of another card and have to make so much more... but I love it and this layout is very simple, so I'm ready before Christmas *lol*

At Tessa's forum I was challenged by Carlien and her challenge for me was "only use cardstock and patterned paper".
Well... I can tell you I only used patterned papers!!
I was also able to use my punches, so I used my Quickutz-dies for the name of my friend and used 2 punches to create the scalloped border at right.
I wanted to use American Crafts papers, as you can use the front and the back (one colour, perfectly matches the patterned side).
So here's my layout for the challenge....

A close-up... Here you can see I put some 3d-tape underneath my title, and also get up the sides of the "flowers". Cut them all out individually from the patterned paper. Loved it!!

Also made a layout of my lovely cat Jet. She's such a great animal with loads of human things..hehe... or do we humans look like cats??
Patterned papers and stickers: Basic Grey; Cardstock: Bazzill; Pen: ZIG
By the way... feedback is always appreciated ;)

Christmas....

In about 2 months time it's Christmas, a very special time for me, specially this year.
Will not go into details, but people who know me, know what I mean.

I've been making loads of cards yesterday (16) and today (got items ready to make another 16, just have to put glue on and put them together).
They are clean & simple, but I just so love them!!
Also made a layout today, so these two days have been really productive. :)
In between I also did my household and did grocery shopping as some people are coming over tomorrow for a workshop I will give at my place.
Love it!! They wanted to do it for a long time, so tomorrow it's going to happen.

Will show some photos of the layout I made tomorrow and some sneak peaks for the cards.
