PTI Stamp-A-Faire Challenge 8

Ok, the last one before heading to bed :)

I had so much fun making the cards this evening/this night! Thanks so much PTI!!

Made this a Christmas one and wow... I totally love this one and will defenately be making cards like this one a lot to send to family, friends etc. for Christmas. It's one you can make within 10 minutes *seriously here!!*
As a base I used the red cardstock, trimmed 1" from the front, added some green cardstock behind, stitched some, stamped the images, cut them out, adhered them, stamped the sentiment, voila... *een kind kan de was doen* ;)

So here you have Challenge 8:
I thought I would challenge you to create a card with an front cover that is cut back by an inch or so.

PTI item: sentiment stamp ("Signature Christmas")

Thank you so much for coming over!!
Please take a look at the other cards I made for the Stamp-A-Faire, by clicking here for challenges 1, 2 and 3 and click here for challenges 5, 6, 7 and 9.

See you later! :)

PTI Stamp-A-Faire Challenges 5, 6, 7 and 9

Hi there (again *lol*)!

Please scroll down for the other cards I made for the PTI challenges tonight/this early morning!

Here we have the cards I came up with for challenges 5, 6, 7 and 9. As you noticed, I didn't so challenge 4. It was a color one and I really need to make this by daylight, not in the middle of the night ;)

Anyways... here we go...

Challenge 5:
create your own custom "faux" border.

PTI items: sentiment stamp ("Signature Greetings"), image stamps (faux border done with "Cupcake collection", "Grunge Me")

I combined the following card with the following challenges:

Challenge 6:
Your challenge this afternoon is to use the little notch technique to hold twine or ribbon in place across the cover of your project.
Challenge 9:
Your challenge is to look at your stamps in a new way, turn them, rotate them at new angles and see if YOU can come up with anything unique!

PTI item: Image stamp ("Grunge Me"-set). I think that swirl looks like a snail :)

Challenge 7:
Your challenge is to have a "play date" with your stamps and discover 2 or 3 images from different sets that layer together in a surprising way.

This actually is the birthdaycard I made for my brother who will celebrate it today.

PTI items: Stamps (sentiment from "Enjoy the ride", car and sentiment on it by "Enjoy the ride" and the stars on the car are from "Cupcake Collection")

Thanks again for coming over! :)

PTI Stamp-A-Faire Challenges 1, 2 and 3

Over at Nichole Heady's blog it's PTI Stamp-A-Faire time and wow... they came up with some awesome challenges.
And I defenately say challenges as I don't own that many PTI sets, but I have to say I really like to challenge myself using them in different ways :)

It's over 2.00 am right now, but writing this (and the other blogposts) so I can go to bed with a good feeling :)

Anyways... here are challenge 1, 2 and 3.

Challenge 1:
Create a project featuring patterned strips that are created with some of your favorite decorative elements.
I just looooooooove patterned papers, so I used them and I also like stripes and dots a lot, so it was an easy one :)

PTI items: sentiment stamp (Up, Up & Away)

Challenge 2:
We would love to see YOUR take on pairing up a hot pink, like Raspberry Fizz, with a charcoal grey (like Smokey Shadow)

PTI items: stamps (sentiment from "Signature Greetings" and image "Grunge Me")

Challenge 3:
Punch a window from you card cover and tie ribbon or twine from the window to the side of your card.

PTI Item: Beautiful Blooms II #1 die

Thank you very much for coming over! See you later! :)
