Rest in Peace my granny....

Yesterday evening, at the age of 91 (she was celebrating it last 16th April), my granny got re-united with her husband, son, daughter and other family.
No more pain, no more sorrow... it's all good now.
Please know that you will be missed.

Love, Angélique

Been on the radio!!!

About 10 minutes ago there was a competition to know the name of a person who was speaking about something on Radio 538.
I call this station a few times with competitions (some great ones!!), but this time, I was in the studio **yahoo**
It was sooooooooooooooo strange to hear yourself coming out of the radio hahaha.
I just woke up, and I always listen to that station and heard the voice and just knew it was Reinout Oerlemans. So I just tried to come through and I did...
So I said that to the host and he was wondering why I thought that and I said "Well, because of his voice" **duhhhhhhh**
He wanted to know why it was that man and I told him and he said that man was directing a famous Dutch book everybody has read overhere. Sorry, but not me..hehe
Wow... pretty cool **LOL**

So now they will send me a goodiebag with at least a tshirt in it.... they said they will send it as soon as possible... not a bad start of my weekend and holidays **yahoo!**

Well... this was my little adventure today so far *LOL*
Have to clean the toilet know (life can be sooooooooo hard)

Sesamstraat

(just for the Dutchies this time...)

Bedankt!

Questions...

I've been asked many questions about my London-trip. So here are your answers...

Yes, I've been there on my own, but have been in London for a lot of times, which included vacations with friends and family, but also all alone.
Just love this city a lot!

If you really wanna go to London on your own... it's no problem at all, even if it's your first time there.
I always take the Underground, or, if the Underground has no service, by bus. The public transport is great and if you just ask, people will help you.
At every Undergroundstation there are signs which way to travel and the map is always there as well. The system is really easy, just follow the colour :)

If you wanna travel to London for one day, please know what you'd like to see. Do you wanna shop or do you wanna see the Big Ben, etc.?
It normally takes me one day (or even over one day!) to shop Oxford and Regent Street. But hee.... I just looooooooooooove to shop **smile**

You can eat really cheap or at a fancy restaurant. I normally went to Debenhams during lunchtime with cold weather (like during Christmastime and like last time) to eat, and with warm weather (so 20+ degrees), I normally buy some sandwiches and drinks at M&S and go to the Park to eat like most people do in Summer. It's great!!

Well, it's just my fave European city, though I've been to a lot more.
And for the crafters among us.... There's a "Hobbycraft" store which you can reach by Underground in about 30 minutes time from the centre... and wow!!!!! Don't have that much scrapbookingstuff (even though the amount of ribbon really amazes me!), but what they have...wowie!!

If you have some questions about London, please ask ;)

I just read an email that I can pick up my photos this Wednesday!!! **yahoo!!**
Really can't wait to scrap them!!

Take care!

Shopaholic is my middle name ;)

This weekend, there was the Art Specially Event in Zeist with loads of scrapbooking- and stampingshops. You could also follow loads of (free!!) workshops as well.
Went there for the first time and wow!!! It was soooooooooo amazingly cool to be there with shops having the items you really, really like and want!
Didn't follow any workshops, as I wanted to go to Paper & Pictures as well as they had their re-opening and wow.... what a great store!!

Anyways... here are the items I bought at the Art Specially Event. Will be there next year as well, but probably will go the whole weekend as there was so much to do and see. And wow...the organisation was just fabulous!! *hands up!*

Here are some stamps... Penny Black, HouseMouse, Flower Fairies and Imaginisce.
More stamps... Cut of the wings of the boy-stamp as I wanna use it for Holy Communion cards and just... well, didn't like the wings at all *blush*

Some papers... As well as for scrapbooking as making cards.
Some cutiepatootie Prima swirls, though I don't really am a "bling-bling"-girlie, but sometimes it's just the finishing touch to layouts.
Some rub-ons, tags and ribbon.
Magnolia also had a stand at the Event and wow.... just couldn't resist myself for buying some stamps. Already have been creating some Spring and Eastercards with them today. (like I don't have enough Magnolia-stamps already *lol*)
After the Event, I went to Paper & Pictures and my basket was filled with loads of great items real soon. Really love this shop and hope to come back again soon.
Some Imaginisce, Prima and Sassafrass papers...
Really love the monkey-papers!
Can't wait to scrap some zoo-pictures with these! Bought the frogpapers for some stamps I already have of Penny Black with frogs on it.

Some baubles (love those!!), buttons and loads more Prima flowers (though I "only" bought 3, got the 4th one free). Also some home deco to scrap.
Really love the new Paper & Pictures shop. It's warm, friendly, really beautiful with loads of greats items in it, as well as home deco as scrapbooking/cards ones.
By the way... this Thursday there will be an online crop at Creating Memorys. It would be great if we could meet overthere.

Photos of London

Yeah!!!

Finally I've been to London again. It's been too long!!
Really enjoyed being there and it felt like coming home again. Really enjoyed my time overthere and made some photos. Not that much, as I've been shopping quite a bit (it's really great buying a shirt for 28 pound, converted that's 31 euro's, while it costs 45 euro's overhere..hehe).
Did some pretty cool things.... let's see...

At Thursday night I was walking at Leicester Square when I heard loads of screaming girls. So I went to the cinema and there was a premiere night with Zac Afron (a star in High School Musical, never heard of him though.... but the girls overthere told me so). Here's the best shot of him I could get with having my camera over all the heads....
A visit to London should include Picadilly Circus as well.... Never had made a photo by night of it...

Went to Portobello Market on Saturday and it was great!! You've seen the movie "Notting Hill"?? Well... it's shot overthere as well.

Oh... been to a musical: Joseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat starring Gareth Gates. He's a cutie patootie **SMILE**

The last day, I was being a tourist, walking around Westminster and getting onto the Big Wheel. It was great. Been there once before, but then it was almost evening and now I had a great view over London by daylight. It was cool!!!

Here's the Big Wheel.... love it! (but I really didn't feel the need to look down..hehe)

My fave street during the days: Oxford Street.
Just really can't wait to get back to London again. Love this city so much!!
Had an appartment in Kensington, near Harrods and the museums and loved it! Also near a tubestation which brought me to the center and Heathrow.
Wow... it was just too long ago (5 years) while being here again.
