ABC Challenge W for Wish

Please scroll down for the Spesch Stamps bloghop, thank you!

Hi there!

Have to tell you we have 2 teams at the ABC Challenge. One of the other teammembers wasn't able to make a project for this week's challenge, so I'm doing it for her.
This week's theme is "W for wish" and we're sponsored by Lily of the Valley (oh wow... who doesn't love these stamps??!!).

I made a card with one of last year's stamp from the Magnolia Fairytale collection (it's my fave collection to date!). The sentiment stamp is from Whiff of Joy (love those sentiments from that collection!).

Anyways... here's my card:

And a few detailphotos:

I also tried a different coloring technique I normally use. Guess it's pretty ok :)

So, this is it for me... please visit the other DT creations at their blogs or at the ABC-Challengeblog so you can play along with us.

Thanks for coming over and see you later! :)

ABC Challenge: V is for Variety

Hi there and welcome to another ABC Challenge!

We're almost at the end of the alphabet, and this week it's time for the letter "V for Variety".
Use at least 3 embellishments on your project.

This weeks challenge is being sponsored by Stamp Fairy. Be sure to check out the store because there are so many cute whimsy digistamps for all sorts of projects!

The winner will received a $9.00 Gift Certificate to use at Stampfairy.com!

The DT was given images to work with and I worked with Linda Fairy. It's just a very sweet image and here you have my card:

And a detailphoto to see the sparkle on the flowers.

I used the following embellishments: Flowers (2 different kind, Prima and the white one I bought in London last year), ribbon and baubles. I have no idea if glitter also is defined as embellishments, but guess it isn't :)

So there you have it...
Please go to the ABC Challenge blog to see what the other DT-members made and I welcome you to play along. I just know you love embellishments and it's really easy to put at least 3 on your project ;)

Papertrey Ink goes YUMMY and SWEET!

Hi there!
Do you remember the song "Sweets for my sweet", it was a massive hit overhere in The Netherlands a couple of years ago.
And when I saw the challenge over at the A Passion for PTI blog, I just knew (after not wanting to use the "Happy Birthday" kinda stamps) I wanted to use this song. It suits the stamps I have just perfectly :)

So here you have it... my card inspired by "Sweets for my sweet"...

And a detailphoto so you can see the glitter on the cupcakes a bit better :)

Thank you very much for coming over... have a cupcake or something else yummy to eat :)

See you later!

This card will play in the following challenges:
- A passion for PTI: Inspired by a song
- Lawn Fawn: Sketch
