It's a Magnolia Christmas 2010 card!

Wow! Finally I finished this card after coloring the image, which I did, by the way, the day I received the Fall Magnolia Kit 2010.

I just love the Magnolia Christmas collection 2010 a lot!
Combined a stamp from this year's Christmas collection (Tilda) with last year's (the envelope). Masked it a bit and this is what I got:

And a detailphoto:

Made this card with some old October Afternoon patterned Christmas papers. Think it was the 2008 release (oh yeah... got a lot of Christmas papers!!)

Anyways... it's almost Christmas Time. The 4 weeks before Christmas, we call it the Advent, started yesterday and I really can't wait till Christmas! Already got myself some presents when I went shopping yesterday and next week my Christmas tree will be decorated :)
Can't wait!

Well... thanks again for coming over! Love ya all!

Instyle Stamps November bloghop

Hi there and welcome to this month's Instyle Stamps bloghop!

If you've came here by visiting the sweet Taylor, you're on the right track, if not, please start at the very beginning... the Instyle Stamps blog. Thank you! :)

This time the theme is "Your fave holiday song". It was quite simple to use Happy New Year Chloe for this bloghop, and after that I realized Abba's song "Happy New Year" just couldn't fit any better.

So here you have it:

No more champagne
And the fireworks are through
Here we are, me and you
Feeling lost and feeling blue
It’s the end of the party
And the morning seems so grey
So unlike yesterday
Now’s the time for us to say...

Happy new year
Happy new year
May we all have a vision now and then
Of a world where every neighbour is a friend
Happy new year
Happy new year
May we all have our hopes, our will to try
If we don’t we might as well lay down and die
You and i
Sometimes I see
How the brave new world arrives
And I see how it thrives
In the ashes of our lives
Oh yes, man is a fool
And he thinks he’ll be okay
Dragging on, feet of clay
Never knowing he’s astray
Keeps on going anyway...

Happy new year
Happy new year
May we all have a vision now and then
Of a world where every neighbour is a friend
Happy new year
Happy new year
May we all have our hopes, our will to try
If we don’t we might as well lay down and die
You and i

Seems to me now
That the dreams we had before
Are all dead, nothing more
Than confetti on the floor
It’s the end of a decade
In another ten years time
Who can say what we’ll find
What lies waiting down the line
In the end of eighty-nine...

Happy new year
Happy new year
May we all have a vision now and then
Of a world where every neighbour is a friend
Happy new year
Happy new year
May we all have our hopes, our will to try
If we don’t we might as well lay down and die
You and i

And here's the project I made:

I just loved creating this little thing. So great for some gifts etc. to give. And I just needed some sparkle on Chloe :)

Anyways... this is it for me, hope you've enjoyed my little project.
The next stop on the bloghop is Cyndi. She has something amazing for you! :)

Thank you so much for visiting and don't forget to go to the Instyle Stamps blog to let us know which project you like best (it would be nice if it could be mine *hint* LOL).

See you later!

Wags 'n Whiskers challenge: Wrap it up

Hi there!
It's Friday, time for another Wags'nWhiskers challenge and this time I think it's a fantastic one (uhhmm... I have this every week! So love their challenges!).

The theme is: WRAP IT UP! So this means you have to make a gift box, a bag, a tag, etc.

I made this giftbox. Perfect for those small Christmas presents :) And who doesn't love presents...

Anyways... here's the project I made for this challenge:

For this giftbag I used Lacey, a great stamp to use for all different kind of occasions, even Christmas! Just give her other colors and you've got a totally different project :)

I also used some of my Christmas patterned paper stash. Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy...I still got so many Christmaspapers left. Haven't bought any new ones (uuhh... bought some EP papers for this year's December Daily, but that's really it!!) this year, and have to admit I can probably use all those papers the coming 5 years or something *lol*

Anyways... back to the challenge...

Thank you sooooooo much for coming here, but please don't forget to also visit the Wags'nWhiskers blog for more inspiration from the DT... the projects are AMAZING!

Thank you so much for visiting, see you later! :)

Wags 'n Whiskers Challenge: Lavender & Lace

Hi there!

It's another Friday, so time for another Wags'nWhiskers challenge. This time the challenge is to use "lavender & lace".
Really found it a challenge, as I really thought I had no lavender kind of stuff to create this weeks challenge. But... Luckily one of my fave brands, Basic Grey, has a scrapbookline which also includes lavender, so I used it. So glad I can "shop" in my scraproom :)

This is the card I made using Rhiannon.

And a detailshot to see the glitter on Rhiannon's wings...

Thank you so much for coming over!
Don't forget to see the other items the DT has made at the Wags'nWhiskersblog.
Plus... you can play a long with us. You don't have to use a Wags'nWhiskers image, but if you do... chances are bigger to win a lovely prize :)

See you laters! :)
