Basic Grey challenges: Mother's Day/Girlie

Good morning!

Thanks for visiting my blog. It's Saturday and it's been 2 weeks since the last Basic Grey challenge, so it's time for a new one and it's called "Mother's Day/Girlie".
I choose for the Girlie theme, but the image is also ok for a Mother's Day card ;)

Ohhhhhhhh... I bought this stamp in London last year and never inked it up, so it was time to do so and here's the result :)

I used the "Hello Luscious" 6x6 BasicGrey paperpad, perfect for girlie cards :)

Thanks for visiting me, hope to see you again later.
Please go to the BasicGrey challengesblog to see the creations the other DT-members made AND to participate yourself ;)

Challenges:

WnW challenge: Go Green

Hi there and welcome to another Wags'nWhiskers challenge!
This time the theme is "The luck of the Irish", we like to see green on your card.
I made it a really CAS-card, not too many layers, not too many embellishments. Just a stamped image, cardstock and a piece of ribbon.

And when you put that all together, you get this as a result:

Thanks so much for coming over.
Please go to the Wags'nWhiskers blog as well, so you can participate.

Thanks again and see you later! :)

Special Digi image from Sylvia Zet

Hi there!

I've been a great admirer of Sylvia Zet since being in the DT of Spesch Stamps (you really should visit the store and blog!!). Spesch Stamps was the first (as far as I know) shop putting Sylvia's designs in the spotlight.
She's got the talent of making stamps look cute, but realistic.
I'm part of a Dutch cardmaking-group called "Kaarten maken with Tiets" and they asked Sylvia to make a special image *whoowhoo!!*
This image will not be avaliable at this moment, but a bit later, so you'll just have to wait till that time *sorry!*

The deadline for this image is 16th March, so I'm still in time showing you the card made with the adorable "Amy".
And here it is...

And a detailphoto...

Thank you so much for coming over. Hope to see you around later this week :)

Hi there!

It's been a while since my last post, but I'm back :)
Have been creating a lot and those creations will be on my blog later this week. Uhhmmm... not all, as I also scrapbook, but don't put those layouts etc. online.

Today I like to show you a wintercard with one of the newest exclusive Magnolia Stamps: Winter Tilda with snowflake. Have this stamp for a couple of months and love it! It's one of my faves.
Here's the card:

BasicGrey Challenge: Spring Photo inspiration

This is my 2nd post today...Please scroll down or click here for the MCSC challenge!! Thanks!! :)

Hi there and welcome again!! :)

This time it's time for another Basic Grey challenge. We're inspired by a Spring Photo you can find at the challengeblog.
When I saw this photo, I knew I wanted to use this image. This is one of my alltime fave stamps I have (and yes... I have a lot ;)). Think it reminds me of when I was young, picking daisies and making a headthingy of them. Cherishing those days a lot! :)

Anyways... here's my card. Used BasicGrey Euphoria 6x6 paperpad to create it.

Thanks so much for coming over again!
Don't forget to go to the BasicGrey Challenges blog for more inspiration from the other DT-members and your chance to play with us :)

MCSC-Challenge: Één

Hi there!

Aloha!
*whoowhoo*

It's official.... the first challenge with the MCSC-DT has arrived! *whoowhoo*
The challenge is called "Eén", or, in English "One".
Miranda's son is celebrating his first birthday, so what better way to start a challenge.

For me it was a challenge as I has a card in mind, but couldn't find the perfect #1 stamp, chipboard, etc. not even in my awesome HUGE stash
So I had to change plans. While going through my stash of chipboard I found some BG-naked elements WITH a #1, so I used it to cut the number out of pink felt.

And here you have it...

Added some bling to the bottom of it and a sentiment stamp. Perfect for those "one year"-celebrations (birthday, wedding, etc. etc.)

So there you have it, my first card as a DT member of MCSC.
Please check out the MCSC-blog for more inspiration from the DT and hope you will play along with us :)

Thanks for coming over and see you later!

CAS: Congratulations Baby-themed card

Please scroll down for the Wags'nWhiskers blogspot. Thanks! :)

It's me again :)
This time I like to show you a really CAS babycard. I just looooooooove this image for babycards. You can make a lot in neutral colors (like yellow, neutrals) so you have some to send, even though you don't know if it's a boy or girl. Or you can make it with blue and pink :)

Anyways.. here's the card!

Thanks for coming over and hope to see you later! :)

- CAS-ual Fridays: Hey Baby!

WnW Challenge: Spring Break

Hi there and a very warm welcome to you all!

It's time for another Wags'nWhiskers Challenge *whoowhoo!!*
This time it's called "Spring Break", you can think anything with that in mind.

I used the gorgeous stamp Rhiannon (you can buy her here for USA and Canada and here for the rest of the world).
It's one of my fave WnW stamps. You can use here all year through... also made Christmascards with this stamp. Love it when you can use your stamps for all different kind of occasions.

Ah well... back to topic ;)
I used some Spring-colors. Love it when nature blooms again after the winter and seeing all those fresh colors makes me want the sun shining a lot.
And is sitting there on a leaf... having a break ;)

And here you have my card:

Thanks so much for coming over. Hope to see you again soon :)
Please visit the Wags'nWhiskers blog for more inspiration from the DT... thanks!!

ABC Challenge: K for Kraft

Hi there!

It's the 1st of the month, so time for another ABC Challenge.
This time the lovely Patty choose the theme: K for kraft.

Made another CAS-card. It was inspired by cards I've seen in a shop in London last September, that one was also made of kraft and very, very CAS as well. Can't remember the maker of the card, but I really was inspired by it a lot!

So here you have it... The sentiment says "Thank you". Needed some of these cards.

I stamped the image with stazon on the kraftpaper, colored it with my Derwents, cut it out and put it on some 3d-tape.
The set is the newest stampset I recently bought at a great discounter :)

Anyways.... thanks so much for coming over! Hope to see you again soon.
Hop on over to the ABC-Challengeblog for more inspiration from the DT!
