Hula week at Instyle Stamps! :)

Please go to the InstyleStamps blog for updates and the newest stamps! :)
Mijn Hula-button staat al in m'n side-bar, dus die kun je op je eigen pc opslaan en gebruiken :)

ALOHA!!! This will be a long post, so thanks for not falling asleep or clicking away!

Thanks for stopping by. Hope you are having a wonderful Thursday.

I'm so excited to announce something going on here next week! It's all Leila inspired.

I love Hawaii. I have a few friends that are from there and we have a lot of Hawaiian customer love too. This summer we are planning a trip there (hopefully it pans out) and so I thought what a wonderful way to showcase how beautiful the Islands are by creating a few new Hawaiian inspired images. In fact we came up with 4 to be exact.

So all next week, we will have a Happy Hula Day's week. Each day will feature a tid-bit of the islands as well as a few favorite design team projects featuring our old and NEW digital stamps we are releasing.

You will be seeing Ariel our mermaid, Leila our dancing beauty and 4 new ones that will make your summer projects come alive.

Also during the week, we will have a special hula skirt for sale created by none other than Janelle, who is one of our dt members (she also created the button for the event.) And get this, it will only be $1.00. So yeah you will even be getting some bargains!

And just to jump start the festivities, if you grab the button and post it on your blog from now until the end of next week, we will be giving a free Leila digi away! Yay! I love Leila, she is too cute!

Simply follow us (if you are not already) and grab our button and post it on your blog/website for the entire week starting the day you visit us. Then leave us a comment along with your email address (leave some spaces so you won't get spam) and I will be sending lovely Leila straight to you.

Also, if that isn't enough, if you leave a comment each day, we will be choosing 6 lucky winners to receive all the digitals being released on Saturday!

And lastly we will have our favorite Island photo drawing. We want to see what makes the island special for you. All you have to do is post your favorite island photo on your blog/website and post a link to it. Make sure you tell us why you like that photo so much in your post too.

All those that participate will be entered into a drawing for some great prizes including some new spellbinder dies! Woo hoo! That's all I can say for now. But you won't want to miss it. I will be back on Monday with a photo of the giftbasket of goodies. The total value of the prize will be over $150.00. That's a lot of money honey!

Here are the drawing rules:

*The photo must belong to you. Either you or someone in your immediate family must have taken the photo. Please don't snag photos off the internet to enter.
*You may enter as many photos as you like.
*The photo must be family friendly.
*A post about the photo must accompany the picture.
*You must have the hula days button on your sidebard the entire week.
*You must leave a comment ON THIS post with a link to the photo along with your email address. You can leave it like this: amy at yahoo.com That way you won't get a bunch of spam. If you leave a comment about the photo link anywhere else, it won't count.
*You have until 6:00pm PST March 18th to enter your photo.

The prize will be sent out once all the items become available (some of the spellbinders are pre-ordered).

That is all for now! I hope you are just as excited as we are. Make sure you stop by on Monday to join in all the fun!

To recap the prizes:

*Free Leila for those that follow us and put the hula days button on their sidebar
*6 lucky participants will receive all 6 digital images just for leaving a daily comment
*Photo drawing for a prize valued at over $150.00!!!

Mahalo!

Challengecard

The sun has been shining since yesterday, so Spring is defenately around the corner.
It's time for it as well, as we had a long, long and cold winter overhere in The Netherlands. Haven't seen so much snow for 2 months long!

Anyways... time for a "Spring"card with the delicious papers of My Mind's Eye (I so love their new line "Quite Contrary"! Totally my kind of colors!)
Pull out my sewingmachine for a bit of a altered look and joined 2 challenges:
Create4Fun (sketch, turned actually)
Stampavie and more (Theme: Spring)

Here's my card...

Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned papers: My Mind's Eye; Stamp: Magnolia; Flowers: Prima & own stash; Leaves: Prima; Baubles: StampingBella; Ribbon: American Crafts; Copics; Letter stickers: Making Memories

Just moved!

A few friends and family have moved to other houses, so I was just thrilled when SU came out with this awesome paperpad and stamps! I really love SU's new unmounted system... it saves me load of space in my stampingcloset.
Perfect for this occasion!
And in combination with the new In Color-inks.... wow! I just love it!
Will upload the other cards I made later this week. Here's the one for today:

Instyle Stamps Sketch

It's that time of the month again (every 2nd day of the month we have this!!) for the sketch over at Instyle Stamps!
And.... there's a prize to win, and what a prize it is!!

Anyways.... here's my card I made. I just love this image of Wanda. Does remind me of the 70's, which music I really love... disco and stuff, so I wanted to make this card a bit funky with flowers and glitter on the patterned paper.
I normally don't go for "non-"official" scrapbookpaper", but I bought this a while ago at the Action (jaja, wij Nederlanders weten de koopjes te vinden) and this is the first time for me to use this paper pad (ah... yeah... I do have loads of paper here... untouched :))

Digital image: Instyle Stamp; Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned paper: Action; Stamp: Elzybells (sentiment); Baubles: StampingBella; Ink: StazOn and Colorbox; Copics

Oh.... and about the prize to win.... go to the blog! :)

In2Stamps March challenge

It's that time again for the new In2stamps challenge :)
This month the challenge is "Make an easel-card" and I just love them!!
They're really easy to make! Go and try it yourself and upload your card at the In2Stamps Challengeblog and see what all the other DT-members have made.

Here's a detail of my easel-card. I'm not a person that likes glitter that much, but sometimes it's just the right thing to use (at least I think so *lol*).

And here's my card:

Stamp: In2Stamps (baby collection - Here I come!); Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned papers: SEI; Ribbon: Stampin'Up; Baubles: StampingBella; Copics; Pen: ZIG; Stickles: Ranger; Stickers: Making Memories

Instyle Stamps February Blog Hop!!!

Hi there!

Welcome to the February Bloghop of Instyle Stamps!
If it's correct, you've come here after you've been to Lysa's blog. If not, please start at the InstyleStamps blog!

The theme is "Spring" and I just love spring!
All the tulips that are growing, just like the other spring flowers.

Now if only the weather could be a little warmer....

Made a card for this bloghop and a take-out box as well with some small bulbs in it to give away.
Hope you will like it :)

The next stop for this blog is Joy's blog.
After you've been to all the blogs, you can vote for the creation you like the best at the InstyleStamps blog. And what's better than winning a prize yourself! :)

Enjoy!! :)
