As said before, I will give an "staralbum"-workshop on June 14th at Tessa Tegendraads (www.tessategendraads.nl).
Yesterday there was an article about scrapbooking in a newspaper from Brabant (a province overhere) with the owner of the store, Tessa.
Here's the article:
http://www.bndestem.nl/regio/oosterhout/3134726/De-variaties-zijn-oneindig.ece
On the left side of the photo you can see a staralbum.... that's mine!!! *LOL*
Don't know if it's ok to place the photo here due to copyrights etc, so will not show it, you have to see the article :)
Yesterday I went to a scrapfair and I can tell you I sold more than expected!! Had no idea my scrapsupplies were going to sell that good. Wish I had more with me.
It was busy between 10-12 am, and after that there were a few people, but not that much.
We were lucky we didn't have the weather like last weekend (about 25 degrees!!), it was raining all day, so it wasn't that warm and people weren't going to the beach!
I will defenately go back again if they have it again with more stuff. But I didn't sell any magazines as hoped, but well... it's ok :)
Will sell them online shortly.
Bought some papers in the shop and some embellishments, but most of all: a small corner rounder to also make scalloped borders. I already have a large one, but also wanted a small one. So happy!!
Next Saturday I will go to De Creatie in Veghel as they have their anual make-n-take-day and I've been there two or three times before and I love it!!
Very good mojo hanging there.
See ya!

Cool fabrics and some cards
Went to a fabricmarket last Saturday and returned home with some awesome fabrics which I've loved for such a long time, but couldn't find them.
Wanna make an apron from these fabrics as I will be giving a workshop "Star-album" at Tessa Tegendraads (www.tessategendraads.nl) on June 14th I wanted something different and always wanted to make them.
I also will be going to Scrap-a-Ganza (www.scrap-a-ganza.com) from 6th-8th June and think this will be great to use during classes.
Will be having some awesome classes, especially Donna Downey and Jenn Starr!!!
Anyways, back to the fabrics...here they are:

Can you tell my fave colour is RED???Ok, I don't have any pattern, but I'll just try. I know what I want, so I'm trying to make it without.
And a birtday-garland ("slinger" for the Dutchies...) from these fabrics:

I just so love the colors. Really feels like summer and spring!
Here are also some cards I made recently with Magnolia's and Sugar Nellie's. I know I said I don't put them online, but well...

Made a decision
Ok, finally some blogging from me.
Sorry for not an earlier update, but things have changed here extremely and wasn't able to update my blog.
I promised you some cards I made recently.
These are the last 2 cards I made last week, one for a friend and one for a birthday.
I've been cleaning my house this week a lot, throwing things away, putting things in boxes for a scrapbook fleamarket next Saturday at Doll's & Decorations (http://www.dolls-decorations.nl/) and am really looking forward to this as I've got loads of unused items like stamps for sale.
Anyways, thanks for looking at my blog.
Will go to my work to clean my classroom and put the "circus"-theme up, so I can start properly tomorrow.
After that I will probably go to the beach (it's been over 25 degrees for about a week or so, so really hot!!)

Update....
Finally I have my internet-access back.
Really frustrating a lot! Had it a few weeks ago as well.
But did a lot of scrapping the last weeks though.
I've been a ClubScrap-member (http://www.clubscrap.com) for about 4 years right now and they have this great Assembly Line Scrapbooking method where you're able to make about 12 layouts from one kit!! Using all the papers you get in the kit. I so love that!!
I got my kits stacked with two of them in one pizzabox (that's like January and February in one pb, March and April in the next, etc.), so you can imagine the boxes overhere, but they're really going down in numbers by scrapping the ALSB-way :)
As I now can put the layouts from 4/5 boxes in one pizzabox, so it saves me a lot of space (even though my pizzaboxes are stacked down the ceiling, so are not in the way at all.
Have to finish 6 boxes (with 11 kits in totall), but now my problem is: I run out of double sided tape!! *aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh*
That's because I made some cards to sell for Queensday (30th April we celebrate the Queen's birthday, even though it was the Queen's mother's birthday). Really love them a lot and the people who saw them said they are really cute :)
But on 30th April the weatherforecast wasn't that great... loads of rain, with some sun, so I didn't want to ruin my handmade items, so didn't go. Better luck next time.
Made my cards with the cute Sugar Nellie, Magnolia and Penny Black stamps. I just soooooooo love them!!
Back to the tape... I wanted to buy new tape this morning (can you imagine... 29th April I run out of tape, 30th all the shops who sell it are closed, and 1st May all the other shops are also closed), but the first shop I went to didn't sell it anymore and up to my round-the-corner hobbyshop.
There I found out they are closed today (2nd May) and tomorrow!!!
So that means: today, tomorrow, Sunday and Monday (that's their regular closed day...) no tape for me to buy!!
Well... I know what to do... I will just colour some stamped images so I will be able to stick them to the papers as soon as I have more tape.
Have to admit it... I'm a real double-sided tape addict.
For the rest... everything is going alright.
Have some difficulties to cope with, but that's ok. It's part of life. I will not write it down here.
Anyways... Jet and Gizmo (my 2 cats) are just sooooooo lovely. They're really enjoying the nice weather and my balcony (attached with a chain, otherwise they're in my neighbour's gardens with the chickens and dogs...hehe...
Will post some cards tomorrow or at least this week if internet is still working properly :)
See ya!

Very productive!
This was a very productive weekend for me.
Finished my album I started at Scrap-a-Ganza last November from the Making Memories class. Yesterday I put my photos in and it's done! *yahoo!!*
Also started my new ClubScrap pizzabox to ALSB. It's great to do something like that.
But there's only one problem. I need the embellishments to make the layouts, but I just use what I have :)
Anyways... been als productive making loads of cards for some birthdays the coming days. Need a special one for my Grandma who's turning 90 this Wednesday! *yahoo!*
Here's a card made for my SIL who's birthday is tomorrow:

Used: cardstock: Bazzill, Patterned paper & brad: Basic Grey, Flowers: Prima, Rubon: Making Memories, ink: ColorBox, stamp: SugarNellie, pencils: Derwent

Just a layout...
Here's a layout I made last week about a holiday in Vienna, Austria, back in 2006.
It's such an amazing city with a lot of culture and enormous buildings like Schönbrunn with its gardens and amazing history of Sissi.
Wanna know a secret??
Are you sure??
Ok then....
If I ever am going to marry, I wanna have my weddingphotos taken in Vienna with me in my weddingdress on the balcony and the stairs of Schonbrunn!! *very big smile*
Beautifull!!!

Update :)
It's been a while since I've been around on my blog, but not in scrappingland :)
Jet:
I've given a "star-album" workshop in February at http://www.tessategendraads.nl/ and will be giving the same one 14th June, so if you like to learn how to make this album... please join in the fun!!
Been home for 1,5 week right now, sick, feeling miserable, loads of headaches, but this morning I stood up without any headaches. So that was great!!
I did a lot of scrapping the last 1,5 week. Cleaned my scraproom... well, I tried ;)
Have loads of ClubScrap pizzaboxed untouched and since they have this great ALSB, I've already ALSB-ed 5 of them, finished a 20-pages 9x9 album, finished 4 mini-albums (had to get the photos in...) and finished 2 layouts.
Luckily my headaches are almost over, so will go back to work on Monday.
Here's a photo of my 2 cats, Gizmo and Jet for the first time in my bf's garden :) They've grown really hard the last couple of months. Also been sterillized by the vet, so no little cats for me...
Gizmo:
Well... gotta go :)

Take That concert
Ok,
So I went to the Take That concert 1st November and it was awesome!!
Really enjoyed myself a lot and it seemed like yesterday I saw them on 16th March 1995!!!
Saw some familiar faces at the concert, like people who've supported them over the years and off course Mr Robbie Williams (oh man.... I followed him everywhere I could in Holland ;) )
Found some really, really great YouTube movies on the internet...
Let me share you the best.... (can't choose really, but I so loved this song Give Good Feeling... really groovy... though the YouTube movie doesn't do it justice at all!!! And I found Could It Be Magic... One of my fave live songs of them....)
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=kgcDTtlHkkg
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=wu3UN9KsDNg
Hope you enjoy them as much as I do...
There are a lot more nice movies of that incredible concert!
Really hope they'll come here really soon as I so love those concerts!!!
For the rest... Have been making some cards... one for my Grandmother's birthday November 13th and some other Magnolia-stamped cards. I so love those Magnolia-stamps!!!
If there was only one shop where I could buy some time...
Or I could start one???!!! That way I'm a billionaire within a few minutes *LOL*
