Basic Grey Challenges: Anything Goes

Hi there and welcome again to my blog :)

This time it's time to reveal what I made for the BasicGrey Challenge: Anything Goes.
I'm still into the Halloween home-decoprojects. I just loooooooove making home-decoprojects, only problem is I don't have a large house, so will be giving this away :)

I wanted to use this cute stamp of Batty Tilda in combination with the Booooo background, so I masked a little, colored a bit here and there, used some BasicGrey Eerie papers from the 6x6 paperpad, altered a black photoframe and.... voila.... here's my project:

And a detailphoto...

Thank you very much for coming over!
I'd like to invite you to play along with this challenge over at the Basic Grey Challengeblog.
There you will also find all the other gorgeous inspiration projects the other members of the DT made and WOW!! They just blew me away and I'm sure they will do the same to you :)

Basic Grey Challenges Fall/Halloween

Hi there!

I'm here *again*. This time for the Basic Grey Challenges.
The theme is "fall, autumn, halloween".

I made my CAS card with the awesome Eerie-paperpad which I bought a year back (I think, or it was 2 years ago). Love the colors of it and it really gives me a vintage look.

I combined my papers with an awesome Elzybells-stamp I bought a long, long time ago. Luckily I did, as Elzybells isn't there anymore and I always found their stamps very whimsical. Don't you just love the circle sentiment and Dracula?? I sure do!

Anyways... here's my card. Enjoy...

Hope you can join me and the other DT-members on this challenge. Thanks! :)
Go visit the blog for more inspiration.

Hopefully I will be crafting a lot more the coming week. Hardly got any time after work nowadays.

Thanks for coming over and see you later! :)

ABC Challenge B for Boo!

Hi there and welcome to another ABC-Challenge.

WOW!! What a great response we had on the latest challenge.... top entries and it was really hard to make a Top 3. Please visit the ABC Challengeblog to see who will be our GDT in November :)

The challenge for the coming weeks is "B for Boo", so think of Halloween, Spooky, etc. etc.

This time we're sponsored by The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop and they have some awesome stuff for the winner :)

For this challenge I grabbed an "oldie, but goodie"-stamp from StampingBella. It was when I saw the StampingBella's on cards when I knew I had to "have" Copics and right now I can't live without them! :)
I colored the Bella with only a couple of colors, didn't do my "usual" type of coloring (with 3 colors of the same range, to get some shadow etc.).

So here you have my card... it's cute.. it's black... I love it! :)

So what are you waiting for?? Get creating!!
We'd love to visit you and like you to participate. Please visit the blog for more details.

Thank you so much for coming over and see you later! :)

New Magnolia Fall Kit 2011 card - Christmas preview

Hi all!

Oh, I'm so happy, cos when I came home after work and playing flute, I found the newest Magnolia Stamp Kit *whoowhoo!!*

Soooooooo... after mounting, I just had to play with one of those cuties.

Here's a little teaser for you...

More of this card will be there tomorrow :) (oh no, I'm not mean...really... just haven't completed coloring and making the card :) Only colored her skin and hair and did some stickles, that's all)

Thanks for coming over and see you later!

World Card Making Day - Part 2

Hi there!

Yesterday, I showed you one of the two cards I made yesterday for some World Card Making Day Challenges at a forum.

Today I like to show you the other one I made. We had an inspirationphoto and we had to make a card with a triangle left out.

As there were *uhhh... are* still some SU supplies on my desk, the decision wasn't that difficult to make. Had to use these papers, which, I by the way, totally love!
The concept is very easy, but think the ribbon ads a bit of dimension and extra to it.

So here you have it... Another Christmascard...

Sorry for the strange photo, but had to photograph it this way, so you could see the opening and I made a triangle.

Thanks again for coming over and see you later! :)

World Card Making Day - Part 1

Hi there and welcome to a very, very, very warm Sunday on the 2nd October!
We never had such a hot weekend starting October in The Netherlands and is officially the number 1.
Really enjoyed the weather, specially today.

As it's World Card Making Day/Weekend, there are loads of challenges across the web. One of them was at a forum. They had 5 challenges and I managed to complete 2 of them within an hour (only had an hour to complete them before 20.00, so had to keep it simple).

Here's the first card I made, we had to make a vintage one, 4"x4" with 2 patterned papers and 2 stamps on it and you can make it more with flowers etc.
So I grabbed a pizzabox full of scraps and found these beauties. Used PTI stamps, just perfect and finished it off with some Hero Arts gemstones and some ink on the sides.

And then you get this...

Thanks for coming over! See you later! :)

ABC Challenges meets Basic Grey Challenges

Hi there!

With proud I'd like to announce you I'm officially back on the ABC Challenges DT! *whoowhoo!!*
They stopped a couple of months ago, but was asked back for the new challenges!

As I've been offline most of the last 2 weeks, having a break from everything, I combined 2 DT's challenges I'm in: ABC Challenges and BasicGrey Challenges for this time.

The theme for ABC Challenges is "Anything goes" (and don't we just looooooooove it?!) and the theme for the Basic Grey Challenges is "Nursery Rhymes/Fairytales".
So when I was searching for the perfect stamp, I came across the newest stamps I bought last week in London from Lavinia Stamps and wow... if you ever have time left to look at all the beautifull artwork I saw at their booth at the show...wow!!

Kept this card very CAS. Love it! Clean design with my fave patterned papers and sentiment stamps. Made it a Christmascard as Christmas will be here within 2,5 months time. Time sure goes by way too fast.
So here you have my card.

Thank you very much for coming over. Would love to visit you, so why don't you just join in at the ABC Challengeblog and the BasicGrey Challengesblog?!

Hope to see you here next time :)
Will be back later today with the winner of my blogcandy.

This card will play in the following challenges:
- Mojo Monday: Sketch
