July Instyle Stamps bloghop!

Hi there and welcome to Instyle Stamps' July bloghop!

If it's correct, you've came here by visiting Sarah's blog. If not, please start at the beginning at the Instyle Stamps blog :)

With the temperatures overhere in The Netherlands, you really can't think about those cold days in December. But... if you're like me, you think you have enough time to make all those Christmascards etc. But then it suddenly is already December!
So over at the Instyle Stamps blog, we decided this hop should be called "Christmas in July" so we can start making all those lovely items for our loved and dear ones.

Are you ready for my project... here it is....

And a detailphoto where you can see the glitter and sparkle :)

Stamp: Instyle Stamps (Christmas Tree Chloe) and sentiment (can't remember which company) Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned paper: My Mind’s Eye; Ribbon: Stampin’Up; Baubles: StampingBella; Stickles: Ranger; Coloring medium: Copics

Thanks for coming and please join me and the other DT-members in our hop :)
The next one to show her amazing talent is Tina. Enjoy her project! :)

See you all later on.

Teddy Stampers challenge card

Hi there and welcome to another Teddy Stampers challenge!
This time one of the DT-members, Annie to be exactly, is challenges us all to use a square, circle and retangle.

I used 4 circles (1 of paper, 3 baubles), 3 retangles (2 of paper, one punched with a border punch and the stamped image) and 2 squares (1 paper and the cardstockbase).

As there are loads of pregnant women around me, I really need babycards, so you will see them overhere a lot more :)

Here's what I made:

And a detail (there's some glitter on the pin):

Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned papers: Tilda; Stamp: WhipperSnapper; Ribbon: Stampin'Up; Baubles: StampingBella; Border punch: Martha Stewart; Stickles: Ranger Ink: Memento; Coloring medium: Copics; sandingpaper

Go to the Teddy Stampers Challenge blog for more inspiration from the other DT-members and get creating!! :)

Twirling Chloe

Hi all!

I had this image coloured last week, already cut all the papers, and planned to take part in the Sketch Saturday challenge of last week, but since my mojo hasn't been there, I finally finished this card with Twirling Chloe and it didn't quite follow the sketch with the sentiment, baubles, ribbon and flowers :)
Isn't she sweet??!! I just loooooooooove the Instyle Chloe images!

And then I received my WoJ package last week with 2 Christmasstamps (like I don't have enough already :) and a sentimentskit (like I don't have enough sentiments as well *lol*). The sentiments are perfect for the Magnolia Fairytale collection, but also for this Chloe image!

Anyways.. here's the card I created:

And a detail with some glitter :)

Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned papers: Tilda; Stamps: Instyle Stamps (Twirling Chloe) and WoJ (sentiment); Ribbon: Stampin'Up; Ink: Memento; Stickles: Ranger; Baubles: StampingBella; Flowers: Prima & own stash

This card will take part in the following challenge:

Almost a week...

It's been almost a week since I posted a new blogpost, so here I am again :)

Anyways.. here's a card I made a week or 2 ago I think. Haven't showed you yet.
Made it with the sketch of Wags 'n Whiskers.
I haven't used my Hanglars since a whole long time, so I thought they could use some ink ;) And yes, this pretty girl really enjoyed the ink, and so did this big girl :)

And as always some close-ups...

The flowers...

Magnolia summer kit 2010: Mermaid card

As you might know, I totally love the Magnolia images, so it was no surprise when I received the kit last week, I love their newest stamps as well :)

Here we have "Tilda, the Little Mermaid" as I will call her.
She's "just splashing by to say HI"... oh, I love this sentiment in combination with this stamp.
Already have more mermaid-stamps of other companies, so I already used this one a couple of times and thought this would be the perfect sentiment to go with this Tilda as well :)

Anyways... here's my card...

And a detail where you could see more glitter..

Stamps: Magnolia (image) and Pink Cat Studio (sentiment); Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned papers: Imagnisce; Stickles: Ranger; Baubles: StampingBella; Ribbon: own stash; Flowers: Prima & own stash; Ink: Memento & Colorbox; Coloring medium: Copics

Oh... I really need to buy more of this patterned paper. Only bought one of each style so I could make some summercards with the stamps I already have, but as Magnolia has so much stamps that scream "We want this paper as well!!" I need to buy some more *lol* Already used a lot of the paper I have overhere.

Anyways... hope you enjoyed my card...thanks for all your comments I receive. Makes me really *blush*!
Have a great day and enjoy yourself!

Virginia's Birthday Blog Hop :)

Whoo whoo!!
It's Virginia's, owner of Instyle Stamps, birthday today and we're celebrating it with a surprise Birthday Blog Hop! *Hi there Virginia!!*

If it's correct, you've come here after you left the letter   N
If not... please go to the beginning, which starts with the letter   H

Here's the tag I've created with Valentine Ava.

And some details...

As you can see, my share in this Birthday Blog Hop, is the letter    A

If Virginia was in my town on her birthday I would take her to Madurodam. There she could see a lot of The Netherlands, as they build it the same way exactly, only smaller. That way she could see where I live.

After that, we go to Scheveningen, which is really famous (and busy in the summer!) for some dinner and afterwards some fireworks which take place in the summer at the beach... it's great to see.

If there's still some time left, we can try our luck at the casino :) And win some to use for nice stamps ;)

And off course you should stay your night in "het Kurhaus":

So, Virginia... we were talking about trading places last week... you're more than welcome to be here! Would love to invite you and give you a little trip around The Netherlands :)

Edit... I forgot the best part of the whole day....

Visiting our Queen Beatrix!!

We all do this by bike, as this is the fastest plus easiest way to travel through the city. Or we can take the tram... (this one actually stops near my house!)

Now onto some details of this bloghop......

Since this is a Birthday Blog Hop, we can't leave you without a chance at a party prize! So here are the rules.

1. Start at the beginning of the blog hop with the letter   H
2. Comment on each Design Team's blog because they need a little love and increase your chances at the party prize.
3. Go to PaperYumness and wish Virginia a Happy Birthday.
The deadline to win a digital image is Sunday, July 18th at 8:00pm Pacific Time. (dit is maandag 19 juli 5.00 's morgens voor ons Nederlanders!)

That's all you need to do! The prize???? Not one, but two! You might win either one by commenting on a blog. Good luck and hope you have fun all along the way!

Enjoy the hop!! Next stop is the letter.....    N

Wednesday, 14 July 2010

It's Wednesday at Instyle Stamps!

Have you been to the Instyle Stamps blog the past two days?? You may have noticed we're all in the Holiday spirit, bringing you some lovely projects with the stamps which will be released this coming Friday, 16th July!! I really can't wait, as there are so many great stamps that will be there (and already are!!)

Anyways...
Here's my Holiday card for Inspirational Wednesday at the Instyle Stamps blog.
I just loooooooooove making Halloweencards. Unfortunately we don't really celebrate it overhere in The Netherlands as in the USA. People are trying and do their best, but it's nothing like there.
Hmm... I really should book a trip to the USA soon :)

I used Batty Chloe which will be released, like all the other new stamps, this coming Friday, 16th July.

And a close-up of the image...

Stamp: Instyle Stamps (Batty Chloe); Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned papers: Basic Grey; Rub-ons: Heidi Swapp; Coloring medium: Copics; Baubles: Robin's Nest
