End of my vacation

And I so do not like that ;)

I was planning to go to a fabricsmarket today, but it hasn't stopped raining since about 11 o'clock, so wasn't happy about it...
But...
Since it was raining I was going through some photos I took last year and came by these 2, made in Paris Gare du Nord, while I was waiting for the Thalys bringing me back home.
Really love all that candy, but could control myself (for once that is!! *lol*) for not buying any candy, but took some photos instead.

Patterned papers & Sticker: Sassafrass Lass; cardboard letters: Heidi Swapp (orange) and Scenic Route (pink); letterstickers: Doodlebug
Thanks for visiting!! :)

A little sneak peak...

Of the Christmascards I will be sending to people this year... It was so much fun to make these!!
I made 16 of these cards, 16 of another card and have to make so much more... but I love it and this layout is very simple, so I'm ready before Christmas *lol*

At Tessa's forum I was challenged by Carlien and her challenge for me was "only use cardstock and patterned paper".
Well... I can tell you I only used patterned papers!!
I was also able to use my punches, so I used my Quickutz-dies for the name of my friend and used 2 punches to create the scalloped border at right.
I wanted to use American Crafts papers, as you can use the front and the back (one colour, perfectly matches the patterned side).
So here's my layout for the challenge....

A close-up... Here you can see I put some 3d-tape underneath my title, and also get up the sides of the "flowers". Cut them all out individually from the patterned paper. Loved it!!

Also made a layout of my lovely cat Jet. She's such a great animal with loads of human things..hehe... or do we humans look like cats??
Patterned papers and stickers: Basic Grey; Cardstock: Bazzill; Pen: ZIG
By the way... feedback is always appreciated ;)

Christmas....

In about 2 months time it's Christmas, a very special time for me, specially this year.
Will not go into details, but people who know me, know what I mean.

I've been making loads of cards yesterday (16) and today (got items ready to make another 16, just have to put glue on and put them together).
They are clean & simple, but I just so love them!!
Also made a layout today, so these two days have been really productive. :)
In between I also did my household and did grocery shopping as some people are coming over tomorrow for a workshop I will give at my place.
Love it!! They wanted to do it for a long time, so tomorrow it's going to happen.

Will show some photos of the layout I made tomorrow and some sneak peaks for the cards.

New layout

Sunday-evening we had an online crop at Tessa's forum and we had to lift a sketch from Tamara.
It was fun and here's my layout I made:

Cardstock: Bazzill kraft; Patterned Papers: American Crafts; Rub-ons: Making Memories, Creative Imaginations; dots: Tulip Puffy paint; pen: ZIG; distresser: Tim Holtz; buttons: own stash

I'm also challenged at the forum for the following thing:

Make something with only patterned papers and cardstock. :)

If you know me I really like to work with those 2 items, so it will be great!! Have to make this challenge before Saturday so I can take it with me, as we have a forumday over at Tessa's and I will be giving a great little workshop. Can't spoil much, but I just love it!!!

2 layouts

For quite a while now, I haven't showed anything scraplayouts related, so I think it's time for 2 layouts I made for Tessa's DesignTeam.
Made the photos at Sacre Coeur in Paris during my 2,5 hours visit last Summer. I wanna go back next year, but then for about 3-4 days.
Used the Autumn Leaves papers she has in store and I love them! Such rich colours and fab patterns.

Hope you like them...
