As we don't celebrate 4th July overhere in The Netherlands, I've made a Summer themed project. Hope you will like it.


Made it with some cute Magnolia stamps I really, really like to use for Summer themed projects.
When I saw this item at a store I just knew I had to make a project like this as I wanted to use those Summer/boatthemed papers as well and love that kinda "net". Just love my project :)

Wags n Whiskers challenge: Summer!

Hi and welcome back to my blog.
It's been a while since my last post, but it's very busy at work and I don't feel really creative these days due to those busy times at work.
But summerholidays almost start overhere so I have so much more crafttime to spend *whoowhoo!*

Anyways... it's time for another Wags'nWhiskers Challenge and this time it's "Summer" :)
Don't you just love it?!
The past weeks the weather has been alright overhere, not too cold, not too warm to work in. Just perfect and next week, the weatherforecast says it will be a lot warmer (almost 30 degrees!!) next week.
Nice weather for icecreams!!!

And there you have it... Summer colors combined with an awesome image with icecream, perfect for those hot, warm and long summerdays :)

Happy Birthday Magnolia style card

Hi there and happy Monday to you!

It's a Happy Monday for me :) Got a confirmation email a package full of stamps and dies will be on its way *whoowhoo* and you know I just loooooooooove stamps *lol*

Anyways, we have an extra day off in The Netherlands which is just nice. But had to do some "homework". Summerholidays start overhere within 2,5 weeks and I had to do some stuff so brought that home.
But while doing that I couldn't stop crafting, so made this card.
Just found out the newest TOMIC challenge and knew I had a BasicGrey paperpad with those colors, so I was quite happy :)

Anyways...here's the card, hope you will like it:

Today I like to showcase a card I made today. It's been a lovely day today as I finally was able to sleep till quite a few hours after 6.45 am, the time I normally go out of bed :)

Here's a card I made with some doily stamps from MME I bought yesterday during a day of shopping :)
I wanted these for a long time, but couldn't find them anymore at shops, so was quite happy when I was able to buy them yesterday.

Basic Grey Challenges: Color Combo time!

These coming 2 weeks we have a lovely challenge for you: a color combo.
You must use hot pink, lime green and brown/kraft.

When going through my stash of BasicGrey paperpads, I was really happy I found the Lemonade one, as it's just perfect for this challenge, but as you might have noticed at the BasicGrey Challengesblog, there are loads more of papers that are just perfect for this challenge :)

DWYT Sketch #89 goes Gatefold Magnolia Summer

It's Thursday 00:00 am CET, so.... welcome to another DWYT-sketch!

This week it was my turn to provide the sketch.
I wanted to make it a gatefoldcard as well, you can say DWYT goes twist ;)

Anyways... here's the card I made.
When I saw the papers appearing online at loads of crafters'blogs, I just knew exactly they were made for last years' Magnolia Summer collection (you know, the one with the nautic theme and the cute Tilda mermaid *love that one!!*) so then I went online shopping and those papers just, by coincidence *huge wink*, disappeared in my shoppingbasket... oh my oh my.... trouble ;)

Have to tell you we have 2 teams at the ABC Challenge. One of the other teammembers wasn't able to make a project for this week's challenge, so I'm doing it for her.
This week's theme is "W for wish" and we're sponsored by Lily of the Valley (oh wow... who doesn't love these stamps??!!).

I made a card with one of last year's stamp from the Magnolia Fairytale collection (it's my fave collection to date!). The sentiment stamp is from Whiff of Joy (love those sentiments from that collection!).

Anyways... here's my card:

I also tried a different coloring technique I normally use. Guess it's pretty ok :)
